I bought some V60 servers from KNIFE and the combination of great products and even better staff made me leave very very excited to come back! Shoutout to Liv who answered my fifty questions and phone calls (I swear I am sane) with enthusiasm every time I called LOL. MAJOR thanks to the whole team who were so friendly when I came to the store to pick up my order. Pro-tip, grab a coffee on the way out ;)
Five stars just for the serendipitous delight of stumbling upon this place. A nondescript front gives way to a truly wondrous interior with every single thing placed there very intentionally. And just a fantastic range of cookware and select coffee.
It is great the shop is open again! Definitely, being able to feel the knives in hand before purchase makes a huge difference. Eugene carries a great selection, and it is great to strike a conversation up with!!
I came in excited to add a petty knife to my collection. I asked for recommendation and advice and the guy shrugged and said it was up to you. Please do not respond this hurts small business as other post. This attitude if you don’t know what you want we won’t help you is unacceptable and unwelcoming. The employee just went back to his phone. Up your customer care and I’ll up the rating. I can get your products elsewhere. I came into the shop for expert knowledge and advice on what I need out of my knife. This is why you are losing business to e-commerce which is cheaper due to the lack of customer service and care.
Had a great experience here. Sam and his colleague greeted me with enthusiasm and recommended the right stone for what I needed. Felt like they truly wanted to help me and not sell me stuff. Their knowledge and passion for what they do was infectious, I left feeling excited to sharpen my knives.
The two guys here were very friendly and helpful, I am new to Japanese knives but I will return here to have my knives sharpened and slowly build my collection
Good knives and friendly stuff. Got a fujiwara knife with some tool marks, the staff explain the reason very patient and exchange a better one immediately. Gonna recommend this store to my friends.
