I had a wonderful time at this school with great teachers! There are many Japanese and German students, but there is an English-only rule so you can improve your English. The best part is that the teachers are friendly, thank you very much for one and a half months!
I'm very happy that I did my educational leave at ACCESS English. The teachers and students were always helpful, and I was able to learn a lot in a short time. The teachers always took the time to answer questions or review topics. The free activities on Fridays help me get to know the other students and Toronto better.
Excellent teachers and amazing atmosphere to learn the language. The school also gives you the opportunity to meet people from other countries and cultures. Amazing experience to improve English and meet new people.
BEWARE! Very unhealthy environment where students segregate others based on the country or region they come from. If you’re from Latin America or Asia, for example, keep away from this place unless you enjoy feeling humiliated by Europeans, who will make questions like why you dye your arm hair blonde if it is dark claiming for themselves an arrogant pseudo-superiority by saying that they are authentically blonde. Ridiculous! An international language school is supposed to be a place of diversity and cultural integration. Yet, discrimination rules at ACCESS ENGLISH!!!
Never again! I was subject a very embarrassing situation by my teacher at Access English just because of the perfume scent I usually wear. When I spoke with the manager in charge about the episode, it was much worse: he embarrassed me publicly, in front many other students, saying horrendous things about my perfume scent. No one expects to be treated like this when enrolls to study English at a language school. It was an outrageous experience. AND DO NOT PAY ANYTHING IN ADVANCE. YOU WILL NOT HAVE YOUR MONEY BACK. THEY KEPT WITH THEM $620 REFERRING TO CLASSES THAT I PAID AND WON’T ATTEND BECAUSE OF THE HUMILIATING SITUATION THEY CREATED.
The language school is a really good place to learn and improve your English skills and the teachers were all very nice and cordial. I had a great time there!
