5 stars for Robin, from Community Laundry, who is incredibly kind, thoughtful, and wonderfully reliable. From the moment she reached out via text, her communication was clear, friendly, and reassuring. She let me know exactly when she would be picking up my laundry and when I could expect it back, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. I’m returning to this service after a few years. It was a true lifesaver during COVID, and now it’s just as essential for me because physical challenges make it difficult to get to the basement laundry. Robin didn’t miss a beat. She picked up my laundry with care, returned it perfectly folded, and even brought back my labeled bags so I could reuse them. She clearly pays attention to detail and brings a warm, human touch to the service. It’s also great to see that she’s environmentally conscious. One small note about the business itself: the phone number listed didn’t seem to work when I tried to call ahead as asked about one-day service. That made me a little unsure at first, but I want to emphasize that this has nothing to do with Robin. She was easy to reach by text and completely dependable. I did receive a response through email from someone at the business, possibly the owner or a manager, which helped clarify things. Still, it might be helpful for the business to update or check the phone number to avoid confusion. Overall, I’m so grateful this service is still available. Robin truly goes above and beyond, and I highly recommend Robin and Community Laundry to anyone looking for kind, professional, and dependable laundry help.
There was a person loitering in here on Sunday afternoon, not doing a laundry. They had a bad smell around them. This place used to be cleaner and more pleasant to be in.
Thought I had finally found a laundromat that was kept clean - however after the last few visits it’s clear that the building is no longer cleaned regularly.
This place is kinda going downhill. I counted 5 machine labeled “out of order”. The door handle on one of the machines I wanted to use came off in my hand. I like this place, I hope they get their shit together.
Deleted my first review from 2 years ago. This business has gone to the dogs now. Place is now dirty, machines broken and dirty. Price increase thats not justified. And that coin machine, does it ever work? Only good thing that remains is the music. I was impressed the first year but now, sadly, i wont be coming back.
I just started using professional Laundry service for my massage studio. Community laundry has been great! The communication was excellent and they were extremely helpful and responsive. They have a locker system for wash and fold that is very easy to use. They offer a great value for the service and I'm very happy to save on time from loads and loads of laundry. Highly recommend!
