Working with Stephanie, Chantelle and Krista was a great experience for my wedding day. I had a diverse bridal party and picked BlushPretty because their portfolio reflected their ability to handle a wide range of beauty, and they delivered. During the planning phase, Stephanie worked with us through multiple location and service changes and never missed a beat. My hair and makeup trial with Chantelle was a great experience -- Chantelle worked with me to have a natural, elevated look, took notes from that experience, and incorporated them perfectly into the wedding day style. On the morning of the wedding, Chantelle and Krista were punctual, kind, calm, patient, and great to be around. They handled last-minute requests with ease and adapted to different styling preferences of my bridesmaids. Even after they left, my party kept talking about how great they were, and how efficiently they worked. Everyone was so happy with how they looked, and by the end of the night (~16 hours later) our makeup and hair were both still intact. I would absolutely recommend BlushPretty if you're looking for a hair and makeup team for your big day.
I have been getting my hair and makeup done by Blushpretty for every event since 2015, literally. I do not feel the need to look anywhere else because the quality of their work and their value for what you pay are excellent. Stephanie has done by makeup numerous times and I always love it. She is incredibly lovely to communicate with - always responsive, kind and helpful. Her instructions upon booking and leading up to your event are detailed and super helpful. For my engagement party, Alyssa did my makeup and I was in love so I booked her for my wedding. I booked the team again for my bridal shower, but Alyssa was not available so I had Samantha for hair and Candace for makeup. Both were outstanding. I LOVED my look for my bridal shower and got SO many compliments. I had two wedding days, the first being a South Asian ceremony and the second being a ceremony and reception. Samantha (hair) and Alyssa (makeup) were my team and I truly cannot say enough good things about them. They were beyond punctual both days (literally set up and ready before I even arrived!) and such a fun yet calming presence on my day. My makeup and hair for my South Asian ceremony were incredible, I felt stunning, and it lasted through the vicious heat that day. My hair was still perfect at the end of the night even after being pinned under my dupatta all day. They were both so sweet, calm and understanding when I forgot I should have put my blouse on before hair and makeup started and calmly got me into it without issue! On the second wedding day they did my own hair and makeup as well as my moms and sisters. I cannot stress enough how stunning my makeup was. I will attach one of Alyssa’s pics as proof. The hair was so beautiful and even better than I could have imagined. The BP team even helped me to colour match my extensions prior to my events which I was super grateful for. I was so incredibly grateful for having such an amazing team work with me for two days. They were an absolute pleasure to work with and the quality and longevity of my look is all the proof you need. I highly recommend booking a trial so that you can ensure you are on the same page as your team. They really listen and want you to be happy but communication on your part is essential to making sure you get the look you want with any team. I will continue to book them for any hair and make up services and will recommend them to anyone.
I hired Stephanie and the BlushPretty team for hair and makeup for me, my mom, and my bridesmaids on my wedding day. They were absolutely amazing! I have used the services of the Blush Pretty Team for years and every time I do I am never disappointed and always feel beautiful. It is not a wonder that Blush Pretty wins best make up team year after year. Most important, they are organized and punctual, respecting the time frame of the event you are attending which helps not to cause additional stress.
