This review is a long time coming but finding the words to adequately thank Jem for what she did on my wedding day have escaped me. I contracted a separate makeup agency for makeup and hair services for myself and my 5 bridesmaids (3 total artists contracted). The artists were switched out multiple times due to varying reasons, ending up with the aforementioned agency being required to contract out for my hair and makeup services as well as two services on bridesmaids. Jem saved my wedding day. Period. The two artists from the other agency were not prepared (no makeup lights, extension cords etc.) and honesty just didn't bring the vibe necessary for a wedding day. The quality of their work was not up to the level promised by the agency as well. Not only did Jem make me look my absolute best, she fixed the other artists work and provided them with lights and cords (and some professional choice words when they asked me- the bride, to clean up the lights). She was SO much fun , and made me feel so comfortable on my wedding day. I don't typically wear makeup or have my hair styled so she explained everything to me and answered all of my questions. I had a few bridesmaids ask for her information after because of how impressed they were with her work. Jem, thank you from the bottom of my heart. We got my wedding video this past week and theres a clip of you doing final touchups before I did my first look and I just remembered how awesome our morning was together. You are so gifted and you bring such positive energy to every room you enter.
We had a fantastic experience working with Jem and her team for our wedding day. From the make-up and hair trial, to the hair and make-up on the day, Jem was so helpful, prompt, and created a wonderful wedding look for myself and the MOTB and MOTG. The touch-up kit was also very handy throughout the day but I didn't really need it as the make-up remained in place. I only did touch ups on the lips - after eating! I would very much recommend this team and would work with them again for any future events.
Jem truly saved the day ! Our hair and makeup stylist cancelled less than 48 hours before the big day. Although Jem and her team were already booked, she took the time to re arrange the schedule to accommodate us. She did an incredible job on us all. Her kindness touched us and we would recommend her to anyone in need of the perfect look on their big day. Thank you Jem!
I don't even know where to start! Everything was top notch with Jem; the service, the punctuality, the quality of her work. All I had to do was sit back and relax ?
