What can I say, best shawarma in the Toronto distillery area! Me and a few of my friends decided to go for a stroll outside and thankfully we were greeted with this shawarma restaurant. Yousef was very friendly and has served us one of the best and most succulent shawarma’s in Toronto. If you are craving Middle Eastern shawarma. Come to this place!

Got the halal chicken plate and it was good - hot, fresh and tasty! Staff are nice too. Just would be nice if they cleaned up the card machine as it’s really greasy to use.

Juiciest chicken shawarma - a great spot in the neighbourhood. I love the 222 deal. I'll be coming back to try the chicken shawarma fries, heard from another customer they're really good. Great portion sizes. Friendly service too.

I asked for one large shawarma on fries. the fries were half cooked, very soggyy. the chicken it was literally like 5 small pieces of chicken. when i complained that it is very less (i am saying this because i am a regular over here and i know their portion size very well), the guy wearing a cap answered very rudely, 'this is what you get'. never ever coming back here thanks to that guy. you dont cheat users on portion size and the quality of food.

After more than 25 visits, I’ve finally decided to leave a review. When I first discovered this spot a couple of years ago, it was genuinely great. I believe the manager was more hands-on back then, which really showed in the consistent quality and generous portions. My first few meals were excellent — flavorful, well-prepared, and worth every penny. However, over time, things started to change. As new staff came on board (which is understandable in any business), the consistency in both food quality and customer service began to slip. From around my fifth visit onward, it became a gamble — some days were great, while others were clearly subpar, depending entirely on who was working. In particular, ever since a certain full-time staff member started working there, the experience has declined noticeably. Unless you order several items or "the works," you can expect a noticeably smaller portion and a less-than-friendly attitude. It feels like the more specific or simple your order is, the more you're penalized for it — which is concerning, especially for customers with dietary restrictions or allergies. It’s unclear whether this is a management issue or just a lack of oversight, but the inconsistency is hard to ignore. If you ask for no lettuce or onions, that shouldn’t justify a half-filled wrap. Longtime customers who’ve supported this place deserve better. And when concerns are raised in reviews, the typical response seems to be a generic apology without any meaningful change. It's disappointing to see a place with such potential gradually lose its appeal over something as basic as consistency and customer care. If you're craving shawarma downtown, I recommend checking out Big Pita first. You’ll likely have a better experience — no mood-based portion sizes, no rats loitering outside the entrance, and no awkward chairs designed to push you out as quickly as possible.

I ordered the Swarma on fries and asked for some lettuce and tomatoes and l was told l would have to pay 1.00 more! I have never ever had to pay extra for lettuce and tomatoes. If it is in the picture that you advertise you shouldn't be stealing from your customers!!! Shame on you! You just lost a 5 year customer!

Absolutely terrible experience at this restaurant. Don’t believe the older reviews and photos as there has clearly been major changes at this restaurant. The server was unattentive and on the phone throughout the entire experience. The chicken was dry, cold and clearly from the day prior. The server also overcooked our fries and served them to us anyways. They were dark and some of them were too hard to even eat. I wasn’t informed of this until I opened the food at home. Overall, the experience at this restaurant was terrible. There are better options around.
