Our daughter really enjoyed the guitar ensemble band camp! I could see she was energized and excited to go each day - she got to experience being in a rock band for the first time and the teacher let the students choose the songs they wanted to play. I am impressed with the amount of autonomy kids had and how they learned to collaborate with various skill levels in 5 days. All leading up to a great performance in a professional music recording studio. wow the two band camps that performed were awesome!
I had both my daughters take in home lessons from Neighbour Note for about 8 years each. They had different teachers over the years and all of them were great. They taught them theory, classical and any songs they chose to learn. Both daughters decided to stop lessons in their late teens but to this day they still sit down and play the piano. Thanks John and Michelle for the great service over the years.
John comes to my house weekly and patiently teaches my VERY active and distractable four year old a combination of piano and guitar. He gauges her engagement and switches instruments when she starts to lose interest. He also makes a point of finding songs she likes and will enjoy playing. (e.g. a song from Trolls!) She looks forward to music lessons every week and is making more progress than I had thought possible with John’s guidance and approach. I can't recommend this school enough!

My children have been taking lessons for 3 years and we love the instructors and the service of having them come to our house. The instructors are friendly, professional and super flexible about changing lessons if one week doesn’t work. Twice a year the company do recitals that are really fun for the students. I would recommend Neighbour Note to anyone who wants to take music lessons!
