I had a very disappointing experience at this store. I purchased an amp that was being sold on consignment, and when I got it home it turned out to be defective. The issue was present immediately, so it clearly wasn’t something that happened after I bought it. I understand how consignment works, but a store should still stand behind what they put on their sales floor — at the very least by checking whether the gear functions properly before selling it. Instead, I was left with a non-working amp and no real resolution.
Kaos Music Centre is easily one of the best — if not the best — music stores in Toronto, especially for guitars of all kinds. The staff, and especially Luigi the store manager, spent hours with me helping to find the perfect electric guitar. He shared an incredible amount of useful information and explained what truly makes a great instrument. He is an incredibly cool guy, down to earth and the kindest person you will ever meet. They also helped to set my new guitar up. Their trade-in service is also excellent — they appraised my guitar on the spot and offered a fair quote, comparable to what you’d get on Facebook Marketplace. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place. To top it off, they also offer great music lessons!
I rarely write reviews—but KAOS Music Centre absolutely deserves it. Their kindness, warmth, and exceptional customer service blew me away. They were generous and processed my order incredibly fast. I highly recommend KAOS Music Centre and truly appreciate their professionalism.

First of all, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better staff and a more personable staff than the staff at Kaos Music. Lou and the gang are all good solid people and Lou knows GUITARS inside and out . No attitudes here in this GEM of a shop . It’s a 10/10 ..run , don’t walk !
Lou was very friendly, down to earth and the most kind person you will ever meet, I bought my right handed Yamaha 4 string bass and was nice to help me out with the equipment in my price range and gave me good words and encouragement to learn bass and also we are both Pantera Fans! 10/10 service!! I’ll always recommend this place to anyone that wants to start their music journey!
Recently ordered a Martin from these guys and the experience and price were great. Lou and Bill both gave me plenty of info that helped me make a decision and then kept me informed while it was on order. Martin factory was slow as usual but I was always advised of the status. End result, I love the new guitar! Great suggestion Lou!
