Kim did my pedicure. As a guy, it's hard to find women based places to accept male clients. Kim was very welcoming and offered tea and water. Service was good. It took care of what I expected. The store has underground parking and is located close to the Spadina Street entrance. Pedicure area and tools look clean and hygienic.
I’d like to share my experience: while the hospitality and the price $30 was wonderful but the quality left much to be desired. One of the staffs, the auntie was very welcoming and invited me to try a shellac manicure. However, the results did not meet even my moderate expectations. Firstly, both the nail polish and sealer overflowed, leaving uneven edges and residual polish on my fingers. Although she attempted some remedial work afterward, the outcome was still unsatisfactory. That said, I do appreciate her effort in providing a thorough manicure and cleaning beforehand. If you’re looking for a mid-level service experience, I wouldn’t recommend spending your money here. Instead, consider visiting a more professional nail salon to ensure the quality meets your expectations.
I went in during the afternoon for a pedicure since I had ingrown toe nails and needed to get it done The person who did my nails, she did a great job. First step was to warm my feet, making sure it’s clean. Afterwards, she cut my nails, including the ingrown nails, then she washed my feet again, soaked in the tub. Afterwards, she put in some lotion and my feet is clean For all of that, it’s only 35 dollars. Not the cheapest but considering the service as well as the cleanliness I feel afterwards, I feel great. It’s worth it in my opinion
I went there for a regular manicure but I was convinced to get Shellac because it lasts longer. The person did a bad job. Within 24 hours the paint started to peel. On the 2nd day most of them are peeled off. I did not do anything to make them fall off. Usually it is hard to be taken off. I have done Shellac polish and it usually lasts three weeks for me, not one day! The worst part is I came out of town. I can’t even go back to get it fix the next day. It costed me 34 dollars (including tip) for nothing :(
I've been visiting Trang at "Healthy Nails" for a number of years, and she's always friendly, accommodating, incredibly attentive, and client-focused. Trang is also incredibly skillful and affable. The ultimate in-the-know professional. I would highly suggest
Super nice ladies, let me run out and pull out cash because I only had card. Wish I pulled out more to tip more, but will definitely be back! They also cut my cuticles which most places dont do, super reasonable prices.
