Hubby asked me to join him for a pedi and mani. Not my usual shop but it was walking distance to home so I agreed Note to staff - when 2 persons come in for 2 of the same procedures - DO THEM TOGETHER! My request was a plain pedi and mani - no colour. 2 toenails have been bleeding since I left and there is a cut on my thumb! Spraying alcohol was not the solution! Hubby prefers a deeper pedi - he wasn't asked about the service he wanted and since he's been several times before and they recognized him was disappointed about the back talk from his manicurist about adding on the service! She didn't have anyone after us. To charge an insulting price for no finishing for mine will ensure I'm never going again! I'm.hoping that no ingrown toenails happen because of the cut under my toenail! Will never recommend such a mediocre shop!
Worst service ever! I went in for an acrylic nail removal, and they insisted I get a manicure. The nail paints they used were terrible — even after applying twice, it took 2 hours to dry. I went home with wet nails that got completely ruined. Absolutely never going back here!
If I could give this place 0 stars I would . I just walked in there 30 mins after they opened to get 2 of my nails fixed . 2 nail techs were in the salon , no one greeted me . After 2 minutes one of the looked up and ask me what do I want I told her I needed my nails fixed and she say were too busy right now don’t have time for you . I asked how long and she said 2 hours . Meanwhile both of them were almost done with their clients . Just terrible
Came here to get my gel extensions removed and the lady thinned my nails SO much that it hurts. You can see where she went overboard with the filer. Save yourself time and money and go somewhere else. She also didn’t cut my nails properly after. I had to go home and fix them. So disappointed
I got a pedicure here back in May and I still think about how good it was! So i’m going to ramble a bit here - but I have a different nail tech and salon where I get my hands done (4 years and counting). But pedicures I’m not as picky about, most of them turn out okay with shellac. I came here on my break one day to get a pedicure, I was trying French on my toes for the first time ever. I asked for a funny bunny with solid white tips, and the lady suggested funny bunny mix with a pale pink with regular French tips because it’d be more noticeable. I took her suggestion and they turned out SO cute! They didn’t look pinkish at all which is what I was going for, but the contrast between the tips was on point. I was concerned about French on toes getting dirty, but this pedi lasted the entire month until it grew out, and it looked amazing the whole time! I’ve since went back to my regular salon for pedicures and they didn’t turn out as good; chipping, shellac peeling off, discolouring. I didn’t get the girls’ name, but I’m going on vacation in January and I’m coming here for my vacay pedi. Thanks for the amazing service! I’m attaching a photo of this pedi after 34 days passed. Amazing!
Gigi is my go-to girl. Shes been my nail tech for a while now and I have been to many nails techs before I found her. Shes friendly and listens to what I want. Highly recommend Gigi!
I went in to get a Shellac manicure done, it chipped after a day so I went back in to get it fixed with the same lady, she essentially accused me for not choosing to do dip powder instead and said my nails are weak, and within 20 minutes of me leaving the salon for the second time the shellac started to lift up and peel. So I went back in for a third time, and went to the same girl and she looked at me and goes “yeah it’s because the UV light isn’t bright”. So essentially it’s not that the manicure was done poorly it’s because there’s something wrong with my nails AND their UV lights. ? Update: not even an hour after the third visit 3 more nails began to lift and peel.
