Service is very uneven here. During a peek season such as around Christmas -- which is when I made the mistake of going -- they really rushed me through! I think I can say it was the worst manicure I have ever had! I now have no nails! and what little I do have are only partial bits and pieces. The nails are so short, my hands hurt! I look as though I just had a fit of mad nail chewing! What a mess! I had to clean up the nails on my hands by myself. I had one person on my hands , another on my feet and the woman doing my feet went at my non-existent calluses with a cheeze grater - ouch! I had to yell at her to stop about three times before she would stop! I was stressed to the point of tears! No polish and it cost me almost $70 (cash) - took about 10 mins! Now I have red ugly hands for Christmas and my (now) stubby finger ends are in too must pain for me to type! (using voicetype) I'll have to wait a week before I can finish editing a manuscript!
I've gotten shellac and bio gel manicures here so far, and had great results every time - lasting many weeks. My previous pedicure had really long lasting results too even with just regular polish because of the careful preparation. The nail salon is clean and serene, even if it gets popular and busy on Sunday afternoons. Nancy pays such attention to detail and is so kind!
Update: Been going for almost 6 months and am still very happy. You find the people you prefer but I am always happy no matter who is available. I have been going back every ~3 weeks for a few months now and am very happy with their service. I get shellac manicures for reference. Then environment is really calming and everyone there is kind. I plan on continuing my routine visits. ?
The ladies here are nice and they always give me professional ideas. TBH the quality of the nails I think it’s pretty high. The nails they have done are really really cuuute? This Christmas design they recommended me OMG I absolutely LOVE IT!!!!!!!! I have been living on this street for a long time, and I can't remember how many times I have come to this salon. Love all the ladies here<3
Got shellac nails and the service was great! She did a really neat job. It is $10 more expensive than my usual place for both services, but I felt satisfied that the service was much better and neater.
Always friendly and great service. The ladies (and the occasional gent) are all lovely and do a great job. The vibe of the shop is excellent. They take appointments but also walk-ins which is helpful with a busy schedule.
The people here are very nice to my 98 year old mom. This is a perfect way to help older people feel beautiful and loved. I bring her here often for the excellent service.
