I’ve been going to RP nails for the last 7 months consistently. They do all kinds of manicures (I do gel) and it’s perfect every time. Sometimes I go in with a picture and they are able to duplicate it perfectly. Tina is the greatest. She is a pro with patience. Really great place in out neighborhood!!!
The service was quick, thorough, and surprisingly painless. My skin feels incredibly smooth. I came here for waxing and the staff was very kind and professional. I am very happy with the results. Highly recommend!
While getting a pedicure, I was cut, and 0 apologies. To make it worse, I didn’t even get my hard skin removed. It took me 1.5 hours to receive this awful service.
I got a pedicure it chipped before I even got outside of the salon and they fixed it but they did a choppy job. Edit: The owner said they fixed it prior after fixing. My nail polish is not fixed — there is small black dots on one of my toes. There is small bubbles on the other. And the “fix” was horrible — the polish is wrinkled and smudged — the smudge looks like the polish was pushed back into place. If I had smudged it putting it into the dryer, it would half looked scraped off not smudged. Your lack of responsibility is astounding. After taking a closer look I also noticed that polish had also made its way onto my skin. Additionally, the receptionist had indirectly asked me for a tip during payment which was incredibly unprofessional. If you guys had apologized and tried to make this right, I would have taken down the review. But your blamed shifting onto me was disrespectful. This was a mediocre job at its finest. The service was even worse.
This is hands down the most TERRIBLE nail salon experience we have ever had. If there were an option to give NEGATIVE stars, this place would deserve it. From the moment we walked in, we knew we had made a mistake. The staff is beyond unprofessional, rude, and completely uninterested in customer service. No greetings, no effort to make us feel welcome—just cold, rushed, and dismissive attitudes. They don’t care about their customers, and it shows. Now let’s talk about the nails… HORRENDOUS. We have never seen such sloppy, careless work in our lives. The technicians clearly have no idea what they’re doing—the shaping was uneven, the polish was streaky, and the top coat was peeling before we even left the salon. And the worst part? THE NAILS STARTED FALLING OFF THE NEXT DAY. Yes, you read that right. Less than 24 hours, and our nails were popping off like cheap plastic press-ons. It’s clear they’re using the lowest-quality products possible while charging premium prices. A complete scam. This place should be shut down for how bad the service and quality are. Save your money, your time, and your patience—DO NOT COME HERE. There are plenty of nail salons in Toronto that actually know what they’re doing. This place is an absolute disaster.
I requested a gel manicure and pedicure. See image depicting quality of work - day 1. It doesn’t look like I received a manicure and the gel application is poor (hole on index). Overall very disappointing experience.
Went in because my week-old gel manicure from another salon was chipping badly already. The manicurist at Selfie Nails identified the issue, then took such care and time doing my nails. They not only look cute, but feel really sturdy! The salon also has a very chill vibe, you don't feel like you're being rushed along like at other salons. Highly recommend!
