Bought a jar a few weeks or so ago and just opened it up this week. There was black mold inside the jar lid and it fell onto all the mustard inside which was also contaminated. I hadn't kept my receipt (because nobody keeps grocery receipts) so the store wouldn't help me. Talked to Kozliks and the one sales rep wiped his hands of the incident telling me that this stuff happens some times and they weren't responsible. It shouldn't matter who's at fault. See the pictures I provided as proof. Update: going this route to get my replacement was the way to go. This second rep was helpful and understanding. They sent me the replacement jar and were very understanding -thanks update my rating from 1 star to 5 stars. Turns out it was just one bad sales rep. Thanks Kozliks you have a longtime customer back
Went to St Lawrence market today purely for mustard, and a sandwich from Stack'd. I love the partnership between booths! My MIL and I split on the 4 jar deal. Both the deli mustard and the triple crunch are fantastic. Cannot wait to try more!
No more peameal. No more pretzel sticks. No more samples. COVID-19 was a problem, but 2024 is five years after 2019. It's time to bring a market institution back.
I happened to find my first jar of Kozlik’s mustard at my butcher, here in Almonte, ON…..and have enjoyed many of their mustards since… I will only buy Kozlik’s from now on…. Gotta try their “Old Smokey” on a grilled sausage…. Nirvana!!
Amazing Maple mustard is the most appropriately named product in the world. Sweet & Smokey and Triple Crunch are also amazing (and I've ordered more flavors to try, because I am so wowed by these). They pack so much flavor and goodness into these mustards. They make even the most boring sandwich in the world taste like a gourmet delight. I basically want to put mustard on everything that I eat now.
Bought 4 products at the booth at St-Lawrence Market. Taste a few of them...WOW. They are so gooooood. Will order more soon from Montreal. Service was excellent!!!!
I do not like mustard and will only eat it if it's from Kozlik's. Their mustard sticks that was crunchy, and cheesy is a must try. You can only purchase their mustard sticks on Saturdays. I highly recommend you trying it but you have to arrive before 10AM. All of their mustards are high quality and unique in their own way.
