There are thieves here, lots of them. I lost my phone, so don't come here! There are so many thieves, you'd be better off going to another nightclub. The police say the crime rate here is extremely high
This is not the first time we’ve had a bad experience at this club, but last night was unacceptable. We went to the club to get entry and were clearly willing to pay whatever the cover charge was. The bouncer and manager insisted that entry was “by invitation only” and refused to let us in, despite the fact that we have been here before. When we asked how to get this so-called invitation, they were dismissive and unhelpful. What made the situation worse was that another group was let in right in front of us without any checks at all—the bouncer simply recognized a girl in that group and allowed them entry immediately. No invitation, no questions. This clearly shows selective and discriminatory behavior. The bouncer was extremely rude, had no manners or basic etiquette, and the manager supported this behavior instead of handling the situation professionally. The way we were treated felt biased and unfair. This club needs to seriously address its entry policies, staff training, and professionalism. Discrimination and selective entry are not acceptable, and I will be reporting this incident as it involves public violations. Very disappointed and will not be returning.
Terrible! Coat check is $4, we wanted to leave a sweater too-another $4, no matter how we were trying to explain that we will hang it together with the jacket or tuck into the jackets sleeve. And when we wanted to go for a smoke and take our jackets we were told that when we’re back we need to pay again every time we go outside, BS!! We went upstairs to complain and we were told basically the same. Second, at the bar no wine and no cocktails, just beer and hard liquor. Not recommending, Not happy with our today’s experience. First and the last time we went to this place. Nonsense at the coat check - $4 for the coat, tried to add my sweater to the coat another $4, when go outside for a smoke and need your coat, when come back pay another $4. We asked security, they said it’s not true and doesn’t make any sense. When asked cashier - yes that’s the rules.
We went to Mementos and had an amazing night! The atmosphere is vibrant and energetic, perfect for dancing and enjoying music with friends. The DJ played a great mix of tracks, and the sound system was excellent — you really feel the beat. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. The crowd was lively but not overwhelming, and the overall vibe was fun and welcoming. Definitely a great spot for a night out in the city!
DO NOT GO HERE the security let in maybe 5 people every 10 minutes. that was only so they could advertise a "deal" where if you bribe them $20 you can skip the line. i can't tell if the security are motherless or just pure scum. when i got in (finally) they charged me $70 for 2 people. im not from toronto but have visited a few times. the only other place i have been is the fifth social club but i would recommend that place over here any day. it's clear the owner does not care about the reputation of this place. disgusting.
I went to momentos with my friend on wednesday night. I do not recommend going here as just a girls night out, it is incredibly unsafe. Upon arrival, the security was rude and they lacked class. After being in the club for a mere 45 minutes, my friend noticed her phone and credit card were gone. We are from Michigan, so we were unfamiliar with how shady this club is. After talking to a couple of locals, we were told there is a huge issue with stealing of phones. Not only did that happen, but we were aggressively grabbed at in the crowd many times. Her phone has been tracking to momentos after the robbery and after reading some of these reviews it appears the staff may be involved. Please be safe and don’t risk it just for a night out.
