Great venue for show casing your talent. Drinks overpriced
Went here for a concert, wouldn't go back.A beautiful place, but everything else is awful.The security was very rude and performed a very aggressive body search on everybody.More than 200 people were cramped inside a small venue, perhaps for making some more money, while the single emergency exit was blocked by a curtain and bands equipment behind it, which I'm sure is a violation of fire codes.Awful sound quality too.
Came here for my birthday with a group of friends, for their 90s House Tribute event. The upstairs is nice, very high ceilings and a lot of space to dance. I would avoid the basement as its a little cramped with very low ceilings. This would not be the place to go if youre looking for a cheap night out, but that was fine with me because a night out for me is never cheap. My only criticism: $4.00 for a bottle of water is a little much
The black security guard/bouncer was rude and abrupt. He was barking orders at 3 customers to go up one side of the stairs when they were entering to purchase tickets at the door for the talent music show. This is a shameful reflection of the place and does not make the customers feel welcomed. Security does not know when to act "tough", it was early and people were civil./orderly. This place will not be a place of class if customers are disrespected for giving you business in door admission and expensive drinks. The black security also did not know what he was talking about when he said that there was no wifi when the fact is that nobody seem to know the password. Expensive drinks, not clean washrooms. Some men were using the women's washroom. The men's are in the basement.
A gorgeous building, with an ample dancefloor and bar. I went there for a live podcast recording, and was quite comfortable. When it's a regular dance club, I should point out that the earplug machine near the ATM is appreciated.
