I found myself in this store on the evening before my mother’s funeral, attempting to print a selection of cherished photographs. Unfortunately, my Android images—presented in the ever-uncooperative HEIC format—refused to cooperate with the kiosk. I was already overwhelmed, surrounded by memories of my mother and our family through the years, and the technical difficulties only heightened the moment. Were it not for Abraham, who took the time and care to assist me with extraordinary patience, my family and I might have felt we had failed in our wish to honour her properly. Thanks to him, we were able to share those treasured images with loved ones who travelled from afar to celebrate her life. Abraham was unfailingly courteous, kind, and wholly attentive, even when a certain Mr. D saw fit to interrupt the queue with rather less grace. All the staff were lovely, with the exception of one person, presumably a technician who emerged from the back. His conduct toward Abraham, delivered in full view of customers, was unnecessarily disparaging. He demanded Abraham announce the kiosk’s “error” immediately to him. Right. A bit daft interrupting service, shout from across the room, while tending to a customer behind the desk? Quite out of place. The machine was simply out of paper; there was no need for theatrics or condescension - especially in front of a customer. Thank you, Abraham. Your extra care and due diligence made all the difference. Hope the owner's of this establishment recognize the importance of great people like yourself who are both technically apt and business focused. A rare combination - and truly an asset. Annex is awesome. Been going here since 2008. Went there today, after not being there for a few years, to get new passport photos and drop off some film. Helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable staff.
Nice staff but store is behind. they do tiff but if you want tiff you can only get scans via usb key you bring in and drop off. Why the unnecessary limitation
Horrible service! I recently brought in slides to be digitized. They were in glass slide cases. I explained when I dropped them off that they needed to be removed prior to scanning and gave a little demo of how that worked. ‘Sure, no problem’. I usually use professional labs but thought to try a local business. Big mistake. I picked up the USB key with completely unusable scans as everything was scanned still in the glass mounts. Ah, and they LOST one of my irreplaceable slides. When I went back to complain the manager basically started laughing saying ‘we never take the slides out of mounts’. I didn’t find his dismissive behaviour very funny and said as much. The instruction was given and written on the order. Anyone, at any point could have called me to revise that information and check to see if I wanted to proceed. No one did. I received lousy scans. Really unforgivable to lose one of my slides and just absolutely heinous service to laugh and say ‘nothing we can do’! One star is too much for my review.
UPDATE- No they did not answer my question. Sitting on a stool texting on your mobile is not helping. Try to purchase a photo album and took three of them and I couldn't even get a straight answer.
I’ve been getting my film developed here since I moved to the city. The people are always friendly, the prices are not bad and they have a stamp program that allows you get free stuff like free roll development/free photo prints if you’re a frequent customer. They have cheaper price options if you bring your own usb for your film scans, which is cool!
Exceptional customer service. We needed 3 passport photos done on a Saturday, one being an infant photo. The team there was so helpful at getting pictures done for my kids, and we received them within 20min. I would highly recommend going here for anyone in the area.
