We looked very carefully for a physiotherapist for my 11 year old who suffered a hockey injury. Prateek was able to connect with my son which is so important with kids who are itching to go back to their sport but need to pass certain physio components first. My son actually looked forward to his sessions and because of this, put in the work and was able to see changes in his strength and agility. From a parents perspective, Prateek was very knowledgeable and was able to offer advice that went beyond just the physio world. He even checked in on his vacation to make sure my son was ok and added additional workouts while away which attributed to getting my son back on the ice quicker. This is above and beyond. Saw a physiotherapist here for 8 months and my peroneal tendonitis got worse during that time. My physiotherapist was not listening to me when I was telling her I was experiencing pain with every step, but she continued to push me on to running. She also discouraged me from getting custom orthotics until she was done working with me despite having diagnosed we with a leg length discrepancy. I stopped going here a month or two ago and finally got my orthotics, which have helped me more than the exercises given ever did.
I recently sprained my ankle while playing soccer, which left me unable to compete. After seeing Ushwin, he got me back on the field in just a week and a half. He took the time to thoroughly explain what was wrong with my injury and the steps needed to recover. Not only is he highly knowledgeable, but he's also very approachable and created a welcoming environment throughout my recovery. I highly recommend working with Ushwin!
