Long, detailed post ahead. Summary: Exceptional Staff. Impactful results including pain reduction & improved daily living if you adhere to the exercises. Highly recommend booking with Mina for physio including pelvic physio (e.g. pregnancy/post partum). _____ The Details: I have been seeing Mina since the start of my pregnancy and now being postpartum she has helped me tremendously. I truly believe us working together is a huge component of why I didn't experience much back and pelvic pain throughout my pregnancy. In my experiences with her over 9+ months, she always showed incredible assessment skills and ability to explain complex concepts professionally and clearly. She listened attentively to my goals throughout the pregnancy and at each visit: less pain, ability to keep working out and being active, reducing long term pelvic challenges once baby is here, adjustments to my workouts to make sure they're pregnancy safe and help prepare me for labour & caring for baby. Clearly I had lots of goals and wanted to be proactive about being strong. So every time I saw her (sometimes monthly, sometimes more frequently if I had pain or a question) we worked on stretches, assessments, birth prep in terms of pelvic health etc. I'm just so thankful for her. My pregnancy overall was really positive and I was able to keep an active lifestyle. I look forward to seeing her again soon to regain strength and function now that baby is here. I know not many first time moms have smooth pregnancies. I thankfully did. Physio was one of a handful of reasons why I had a good experience with my first shot at this. But not just that technical stuff. Maybe most importantly, she is a truly kind person who I am able to trust. She is fabulous. We cant forget about the kind receptionist whose name I'm blanking on in my postpartum state! But thank you for your warmth and diligence. Again, it's a great clinic. Book in with Mina if you can for pelvic or normal physio. Can't recommend her enough. If you have questions too, just make sure to ask her for a follow up email summarizing key actions / exercises. ❤️ __ Logistics: -You can park at the nearby Green P parking (~3min walk for me from there to clinic doors while pregnant) -There is also lots of street parking pretty close by. It's convenient enough via TTC since the clinic is pretty much at the Queensway / Royal York intersection - Clinic is downstairs in the medical building. You can take 1 flight of stairs or take the slow elevator if accessibility is key -They often have little chocolate squares for clients at reception :) __ *Note to clinic ownership* : Continue treating your staff well, because they are the most important reason I am happy to come back month after month :) I will follow Mina wherever she goes in the GTA.
I have beaten up my body over the years working construction but Gillian Growse has always corrected the many different issues I have had. It's just amazing. I would never go anywhere else. Thank you so much Gillian.
Very good experience with this place and Danny the physiotherapist is very professional and friendly. He explains everything he’s doing and gives exercises to do at home The lady at the front desk is always very pleasant and cordial.
