Im a relatively new customer and this place is awesome. Very lgbtq friendly and also amazing staff. The receptionist Caitlin is so cool and helpful. Ive currently been seeing both Adrianna and Jason both are amazing Massage Therapists!!! They are easy to chat with, friendly, professional and super helpful for pain relief. I’ve already reccomended this place to people I know in the area! Will definitely be back next year too in 2026!!
Momentum SportMed is the new home base of my physiotherapist Jason White, and I would follow him anywhere (but this new location is easily accessible by public transit!). Jason’s exceptional skills and long experience have saved me from knee surgery, predicted a hip replacement, and restored mobility after a workout injury. He is a consummate professional with a friendly, approachable manner. The fee schedule is straightforward and the clinic is completely client centred with a variety of services I look forward to accessing.
Momentum is an absolutely wonderful place for physiotherapy treatment! The entire staff is super helpful and personable, and Olga in particular was an excellent PT. She helped me stay on track with a recovery plan and sent exercise sheets to follow for at-home routines. She utilized the equipment and tech that they have at their facility including shockwave therapy, and balance and exercise equipment. She never worried or rushed if our session went overtime and was always patient. Thanks to Olga, Jason, and the entire Momentum staff. If you're looking for a quiet, friendly atmosphere and personable physio team then I highly recommend Momentum SportMed. I'll be sure to return for any future physio needs! Thanks team
As s soccer player/athlete - this is my go to place in downtown for massages and physio (i did my MCL rehab here!). Have worked with both Jason and Ishwam (a.k.a Ish!) - both super knowledgeable but really down to earth. I also get a chuckle out of the chalkboard signs every every time I pass out front. I was treated by Ish, to fix some elbow pain I was experiencing as a result of weight lifting. Ish was able to diagnose the problem, treat the pain, and provided me with a personalized exercise routine to prevent further pain. I am back in the gym and free from pain. Excellent experience, highly recommend Momentum SportMed and Wellness!
I was seeing Ish for the past couple of months due to a wrist tendonitis and he helped me realize what I was doing wrong in my home treatments. He then of course helped me to I improve it and strengthen it to a point where it's unlikely to hurt me again through massage that helped to heal quicker as as well as orchestrating exercises for me to do. Within days I was already experiencing so much relief and I trusted to continue with Ish's plan to be comfortable to do my daily activities at work and at home. He was very flexible with appointment times which was very helpful for my unforgiving schedule, and very personable. They also do direct billing which is very helpful! If I have the misfortune of getting another injury of some sort, I will not hesitate to return to the clinic here because I know I'll be taken care of.
I wish I had never visited this clinic!!! Right after a massage therapy session by Jason W. 3 years ago, I felt severe discomfort in my neck and got very severe neck and back symptoms which is VERY painful. This has affected my daily life ever since. I haven't been able to recover, and don't know if I ever will! After Jason learned about this, he claimed in his clinic notes that I had the issue prior to my visit, which is not true! I have been spending lots of time and money on various treatments and struggling about the symptoms. I can't express how frustrated I am about all this.
