I truly loved the Mat Pilates Program and all the amazing teachers and learners MMC nurtures. More than just rigorous and practical Pilates program, MMC offers a true collective learning space where community organically flourishes and humans connect.
Came to this studio since February 2022, and my experience with all the instructors and community managers has been great! I like how they manage the classes in such an organized way, and my go-to instructor Emily HB is very sweet and professional. This is the first studio I’ve been since I started Pilates journey and so far I am very happy about my progress here!
The first time I did Pilates was at this studio, and I’m so glad I found this place. As someone who lacks body awareness and struggles with balance, it was so important for me to be in a space that felt secure. After taking several private sessions here, I could see the very obvious difference between my most recent session and the very first time I moved on the reformer. Great studio, highly recommend!
I absolutely love my private classes with Olivia! She's incredibly knowledgeable and creative, customizing our sessions based on my requests and fun ideas she comes up with. I actually look forward to working out when it's a session with her! The studio itself is bright, clean, and the equipment is in great shape.
I take the virtual classes with Mindful Movement Centre. Really enjoy them. The instructors are wonderful and easy to follow. Great way to keep your body moving.
I've taken Pilates at several places in Toronto. Mindful Movement provides the most challenging and enjoyable space because their instructors and classes are fabulous. Today I had Lourdes for a Gentle Reformer class. This was the best class!! Giving personal instructions she watches each individual and stops to adjust an individual's movements as needed. I'd hurt myself a few weeks ago so she was constantly asking if the weight was appropriate for me. I am challenged but always feel safe in this class. It's helped my posture and toned my stomach. Loved my class with her!
I found Mindful Movement during COVID (funny enough) and it has been a part of my life ever since. Although I have been practicing pilates for a few years now, I recently started taking private and semi-private sessions with Aley. Seeing her is one of my favourite things I do each week. As someone who has struggled with some fairly complex injuries, pilates (and Aley) has been instrumental in helping me get stronger :) I am so grateful!
