One year later I still struggle with pain, oozing and scarring due to botched surgery by Torgerson. DO NOT LET HIM TOUCH YOU. Dr. Torgerson damaged my eyes terribly. The term botched truly applies here. I suffered for six months with achy, burning, leaking, oozing, misshapen eyes. I consulted with two well respected ocular surgeons and both diagnosed skin grafts to repair the damage. I’ve just finished the second one. This has been a horrible, crushing experience. Torgerson’s office does not care, refusing my requests for a refund to pay for the repairs. They’re quite cavalier. Do not use Sovereign and don’t let Torgerson touch ANY part of your body. Awful place.

1 year later and the asymmetry of my chin implant is really bothering me. Since the surgery, one wing is positioned a centimeter higher than the other. Makes the chin look like it's deviating to one side. --- Addendum on Thursday July 10, 2025: My name is Dr. Kevin Xiang Zhou. After my initial review displayed unedited above, Dr. Torgerson’s staff sent me an ultimatum demanding I take down the review or have my 12-month follow-up cancelled and dropped as a patient. I rejected their coercive demand to censor a completely honest and factual review. They subsequently abandoned me as a patient despite the multiple serious ongoing complications I have been experiencing. The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) is currently investigating this case. In my many years of experience both receiving and providing care in the medical profession, Dr. Torgerson is the most unprofessional physician I have ever had the misfortune of trusting. Before you undertake something as irreversible as surgery, please ask yourself: would I want to be treated in this same manner should I have a complication? Dr. Torgerson gave me a gorgeous upper eyelid surgery last August of 2023. I feel more beautiful and more confident in myself. I wasn’t sure about what date I wanted to pick for my surgery and I kept changing it multiple times but luckily Nicole was super accommodating and kind with all the surgical planning. Dr. Torgerson was punctual for all of the follow up appointments supporting me throughout my journey. Thank you for everything Dr. Torgerson and Sovereign Surgery team ❤️
People there have the worst sense of timing. I got there 5minuted BRFORE the appointment and wait for at least 30minutes but still not see the doctor. At the end I lost my patience and left. Even they refound me the money for the consultation，but i still pay my half day from the work and parking in downtown for this stupid appointment. So unproffessional！！！ The feeling of that place is like 中国的三流医美诊所 只有装修好看跟骗钱
I had both a non-surgical and surgical rhinoplasty done with Dr.Cory Torgerson and the results turned out better than I had ever imagined for both. All the staff are so kind and make you feel welcome throughout the entire process. Amazing experience all around, wouldn't have wanted anything done differently.
