I have had foot issues for decades thinking it was mortons or capsulitis etc. About 5 years ago I went to a clinic and had custom orthotics made with metatarsal pad - they were so uncomfortable I never used them. 3 months ago my issues flared up again and I decided to go see Laura. She is absolutely amazing - diagnosed me with extensor tendinopathy and recommended orthotics. Based on my prior experience I had a lot of trepidation getting a new set of orthotics from here but they are BRILLIANT. Feels like an in foot massager. I cant recommend Laura and InStride highly enough. Remember that the orthotics will feel a bit lumpy for the first 5/10 minutes and then your foot will adjust around them if they are well made - like the ones I got here. I use tem all the time and my foot is getting better.
Laura and the clinic were fantastic. The model allowed for a thorough and accurate diagnosis and highly effective treatment in the same session. Highly recommend.
Occasionally, you find a health service provider That makes an unbelievable difference to the quality of your life. Laura by taking a few simple steps, made my feet pain-free and has allowed me to continue doing all the things I love. I am extremely grateful.

I initially sought out InStride Podiatry On Yonge back in November due to an issue with ingrown toenails on both feet. Dr. Laura Desjardins made the experience a wonderful one. I came back just this past week to have a partial nail avulsion on both toes as a more permanent solution to my issue and again Dr. Laura Desjardins was nothing less than incredible. She is compassionate, kind, and so very patient. I am not a big fan of needles but Dr. Laura Desjardins was able to put my mind at ease. The surgery was seamless and she took the time and effort to ensure she did a great job. She also fit me into her schedule the very next day to change my bandages despite being booked up. She also accommodated me further when I was unable to make an earlier appointment that same day. She also explained the aftercare of this procedure to me very thoroughly. Overall, Dr. Laura Desjardins has made my first experience visiting a podiatry clinic a spectacular one and I would without any reservation recommend anyone who is looking for a solid Doctor in this field to seek out Dr. Laura Desjardins services. She is so phenomenal!

Thanks Laura for treated and finally help me to get over my plantar fasciitis. Before meet her, I though that I would never run again. Thanks to your knowledge and optimism, now I'm back running 45k-60k per week and start training for my half iron man next year. At the same time, Laura treated me a very painful plantar wart that I had for a couple of months. She successfully removed after a very short surgical procedure. Now, I'm back to pursuing my next sport challenge.
