I did co-op with the Recruiting Department. I had the best experience with them. They not only taught me a lot but also made me feel welcome and part of their family. Thank you so much for the experience!

They received my VSS application on June 29th, and apparently are still working on applications received on the 20th. I originally went with the regular service because I am a student, and could not afford to spend the extra money for the expedited service. On their website, it says that processing time is around 10 business days from the time of receipt of the application. The 10 day processing time would have been acceptable, but now they are telling me that I need to wait another 2 weeks before my application will be processed. I won't be able to receive my VSS in time, and I can not afford to spend another $65 and an entire day to commute to their downtown office in order to have an expedited VSS done. If the processing time is more than 10 business days, the TPS should update their website to say so, instead of fooling people into thinking that they can get their required paperwork in time when in reality, they can not.

Great job by the officer who handled the situation in yesterday's horrific incident. This an example on how the police should handle disturbed subjects like that.

The Toronto Police Service, through its members and under the failed governance of several Governing Bodies of authority, decision making and accountability, have committed more crimes and indecencies against the people of Ontario, Canada, then any other person, entity or organization including extremist groups worldwide, but their stature in a Canadian Society is not reflected by the despair and aggressive position they have endorsed by their Subscription to the current Constable Selection System, through the use of fear as an instrument to voice their position of authority against the general population, where ignorance of the facts is provided in exchange for assistance by the same Government Ministry that is supposed to be protecting both sides. If you continue to allow the drunks, drug addicts, sexual predators and individuals with mental illness in the ranks of the Toronto Police Service to violate the rights of the general population, innocent or otherwise, "they will". If you further commit to unchallenged accommodation through omission while it is going on, " they evolve through a persistence of awareness to a complete lack of accountability," and get better at it. If you protect them further, "it creates a barrier of fear that cannot be breached by the general population being subjugated " and it won't stop. This is evident in the amount of crimes committed by such individuals within the Toronto Police Service, that go unreported, unpunished, and undocumented through the prosecution of the Law, through denial, deceit, and ignorance by the organization that created them. The Police Service Act does not allow for these types of occurrences, nor will the Law, when it becomes challenged. The reality of accountability for this organization and the demise of thousands of its members, under the LAW, is merely a legal challenge away. When Medically tested, more than half of the Police officers in Ontario under the current Constable Selection System, would be dismissed, as unfit for duty, without ever factoring in any other legal, scientific or psychological competencies, whatsoever, as they set a dangerous precedent without even realizing it. The problem continues to exist, simply because no one has ever challenged. Please find enclosed the Decision in the matter of Zaromitidis v. Toronto Police Services Board HRTO File Number: 2011-09049-I. Dated September 3, 2014. A second document is also being provided to support the claims above in relation to a final decision, that failed to accurately represent the facts in relation to the expert evidence provided against both respondents. For the purpose of addressing this complaint, all other documentation legally in my possession will be provided upon request, in accordance to governing Legislation, including all documents and studies that were introduced as privileged by me, in order to protect certain individuals from reprisal and harm from both respondents.

Saw two 'Peace Officers' pull over an old Indian man in the most a disgraceful way. First they disturbed traffic by unexpectedly stopping, then leaving their vehicle in the middle of the road with NO LIGHTS on and hopped from their vehicle like two hound dogs; both sniffing and rubbing their noses like crazy. There actions, attitude and overall behaviour were of two coke heads fuelled on a serious power trip! They were only up to mischief. People like that should NEVER be trusted with a gun! This is not the actions of a 'Peace Officer' out to protect the public. These police were disturbing the peace. All officers should be Drug Tested Monthly!! You can not have people professionally handle drugs in their line of duty and not get tested regularly. To all the GREAT COPS out there- it is time to STAND ASIDE from the cops and politicians that are destroying your country. It is time to PROTECT THE PEOPLE you were sworn to serve. BE BRAVE -for the cops doing the right thing, it is your colleagues and superiors were you may have to take on! When this system bursts, we the PEOPLE WILL NEED YOU!!
