First time rock climbing, had an amazing experience! The staff are very welcoming, Melissa gave us a tour and walked us through the different climbs. She was very outgoing, positive and encouraging, also provided tips and tricks in parts where my group struggled. Amazing experience Will definitely be coming and recommend it for anyone starting like myself or very experienced people. The varying levels in difficulty makes progression measurable too
Pretty enjoyable climbing place with a mix of bouldering and belaying, with a small gym upstairs also. Staff are friendly and the place is pretty well kept. Would say its more of an older climbing gym but other than that, its a nice spot to feed your climbing itch.
Honestly not my favourite climbing gym. I enjoy the atmosphere and the climbing community at this gym, however didn’t love the setting. Felt very reachy, older style gym that could use some updating.
Another day another climb. What can I say the overall atmosphere at TCA in 2024 is amazing. I had visited the gym before in 2022 just after the pandemic and all the struggles and was pleasantly surprised and amazed by the revamped equipment and overall experience. From a customer satisfaction perspective, it’s always been a fun-loving, and great place to be truly characteristic of the overall rock climbing community. The staff are always there to help, and welcoming and just holding true the spirit of climbing and outdoor sports. From a technical standpoint, they just renovated the gym and added a whole new section to which I was sooo amazed with the overall quality and vast amount of finger board and the KilterBoard which is almost done is soooo exciting! I recently did the lead test and was sooo happy with the attention to detail during the testing and the routes were fairly graded and set. I would recommend this gym to all especially those trying to get into the sport. The family oriented and professional vibe of the gym allows those curious to start off on the right foot. Well done Chris and all staff. Can’t wait to see what the rest of the year has to offer! Wishing you much success
Excellent place for an outing with friends, for kids to rock climb and build their confidence and self-esteem and abilities, and a great place to host a kids party.
Great variety of routes. The simulated real rock wall along the back is interesting and the big arch feature in the lead climbing area is great. Those routes are always a challenge and require some big committed moves. Sometimes I worry about the footing on some of the early moves in the crash zone which could be dangerous if you slip while lead climbing.
Fun place that isn't too busy. Great walls for top rope, nice bouldering section and a small gym upstairs. Also, the staff here are very helpful and friendly.
