Great salsa studio! Came for a class and right after signed up for 3 months. The teachers Enrico (Enrique) and Dailyn are funny, kind, open and patient. The student community also reflects that! If you are looking to learn salsa in a great environment, make new friends (and practice your Spanish ;)) just sign up for a class I promise you won’t regret it. They also have a monthly bembe night organize (think salsa party) where you get practice your moves on the dance floor! ¡Hasta luego!
Classes are so much fun!! Instructors, people are welcoming and friendly. The studio location is convenient. My experience has been quite positive…almost for a month now! I’ll be more than glad to continue!
Love the classes here. Traditional salsa style that most native Latin speakers would recognize as the style you see in Latin America. Super engaging, clear communication from instructors. Good structure and use of time. Great friendly atmosphere with friendly students to dance with. Fair price for lessons and convenient schedule.
This class is a lot of fun! I am not a complete beginner but still gain many insights into the flow of casino movement. Dailyn was clear in pointing out steps and with great energy. By the end, it certainly felt like we all were doing more than a basic level dance, yet with ease! If you’re even just thinking about it, just do it and take this class!!
For years learning how to dance Salsa and other Latin dances have been on my bucket wish list. I wanted the real Cuban experience, atmosphere and energy. I found that place at Shumdelasalsa. Dailyn and Enrico bring that vib and energy to their classes. The students from all different levels bring the classes with fun, play, and ease. Of course never any pressure. I've loved the Shum classes Dailyn offers. It's one thing to learn salsa steps but learning how to style those steps adds attitude & a little bit of spice. Going to Shumdesalsa classes makes my day. The atmosphere is purely joyous.
