I got a liquid rhinoplasty at D Luxe Lab and I had paid around $1,500 for the procedure. I sit down in the room with the doctor and get told that they are unable to achieve the appearance I wanted. I did not have a consult with the doctor beforehand because I probably wouldn’t have paid all of this if I didn’t think it would be possible to be attained. I have a bump on the bridge of my nose and I did not have a complex case. I wanted the bump to not be noticeable and for the tip of my nose to be slightly lifted to give that “button nose” or “scoop nose” effect. I had an initial consult over zoom beforehand with someone who was not the doctor saying they’d be able to attain the look with NO PROBLEMS. I get there then I get told differently after paying the money before the procedure. The doctor then tries to tell me that the look I wanted is only attainable by rhinoplasty surgery (seemed like an upsell to me). The doctor goes ahead and does the liquid rhinoplasty procedure and I wasn’t completely satisfied with the result. The tip of my nose had a major round bump on the end of it which was not aesthetically pleasing, nor what I wanted. I had expressed that I was not completely satisfied and they sent me on my way anyway. About a week and a half go by and I called them to tell them that I feel like the filler is going away and that my nose almost looked like what it originally looked like before I got the procedure done. After talking on the phone they booked me in for a follow up appointment. I drove an hour and a half to get told that I need to push down on the hump on my nose to even out the filler and that it’s “normal to feel like you need more filler because filler is addictive”. There was hardly any difference after the doctor proceeds to bruise my nose again by pushing so hard on the hump on my nose, but I went along with it in hopes that it would look like how I wanted it to. The doctor refused to do a “top up” even after expressing I wanted a top up right where the bump was to even out my nose bump. I kept on doing the correct aftercare by wearing nose tape right after the procedure for a few days and continued to wear it at night, also while trying to push down on the hump on my nose to try and even out the filler (which didn’t really work). The filler in my nose went away FULLY in less than a month and I was not happy whatsoever with the result. After they have your money they do not care about the outcome. I am VERY unhappy with my experience here. When I went for the follow up appointment, I got treated with less professionalism than before, it almost seemed to me like they were frustrated I came back with concerns. I do not recommend D Luxe Lab because they will take your money, tell you they can’t achieve the look you want (after having all of your money), do not meet the doctor before hand, do not care if you like the result or not, and the filler disappears within less than a month. It almost makes me wonder if it was actually filler that was injected… Biggest waste of $1,500 in my life.
I had a wonderful experience getting work done by Giselle. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with her throughout the entire process. She made me feel heard, respected, and safe every step of the way. I’m truly looking forward to my future appointments with her!
Very nice staff but there’s a lack of consistency in the processes. Also, I did 2 sessions of laser and absolutely NO changes. Really a waste of money and my time.
I unfortunately went here to get Botox in my forehead and my life is now ruined thanks to nurse Andreh Kaba. The consent form they gave me did not list many possible side effects that may occur and wasn't even for dysport, it was for Botox, but they ended up giving me dysport which I didn't ask for. I discovered they use the same watered down consent form for all Botox brands. They don't care if you understand and are informed about the deadly neurotoxins they inject you with. I would later find out that the injector , Andreh Kaba, carelessly used a 3:2 ratio of dysport to Botox which is very uncommon in the industry because it lacks safety and efficacy literature to support it. This wasn't even documented in the records, this is what the he told me. What was documented in the records is that a 1:1 ratio was used which is extremely dangerous. Nonetheless they experimented on me with this dangerous ratio. Their Botox aftercare instructions were lacking on the consent form which they did not even provide to me after leaving from injection, and they did not provide me with any pre or post care botox instructions, showing furthermore they don't care about your safety. They did not mention to avoid heat exposure which can cause spread of the toxins. They advised me to make expressions within 1 hour after injection but other clinics advise against this. In speaking to the phony plastic surgeon there "Dr basil" he claims that they advise this because they inject differently than other clinics. When I asked the nurse Andreh about this instruction he said it doesn't matter. Do your own research before getting Botox because it is a poorly regulated industry and all.it takes is one injection to ruin your life. I ended up developing severe tinnitus in my ears which has been ongoing for almost a 1.5 years now and the team there initially dismissed my concerns as unrelated to the dysport but would later concede that it could be related. Secondly I developed a large dent in my scalp and I now look deformed. I'm addition, I have lost all the volume in my forehead and scalp down to the bone. The team there dismissed this result as unrelated to the dysport and they'd never heard of it before. Tinnitus is actually listed in the post marketing section of the Botox product monograph and so is atrophy and denervation. I still cannot fully raise my eyebrows and my upper forehead is still frozen 1.5 years later, indicating nerve damage. Be very careful because if any complications arise with your Botox injection there is nothing they can do for you. Don't take risk and make sure you go somewhere where safety is a priority and not money. Better yet, don't get Botox at all, it's just not worth it. I wish I had done more research about this topic before trusting these people with my health. Do not get Botox and especially not from here because the nurse injector is not qualified to inject. They refused to show me his qualifications. If you are thinking of getting botox, first join Botox injury support groups on Facebook and see the countless lives Botox has ruined with permanent side effects like paralysis, muscle wasting, dents, volume loss, tinnitus, autoimmune conditions. Be informed because you cannot rely on the consent forms from this filthy establishment they should be shutdown for good and thrown into n jail all of them.
I’ve been visiting D Luxe Lab and have nothing but excellent experience and great results. First the clinic is luxurious, the environment is so clean and the doctor and the staff are very knowledgeable. They understood the specific need of my skin and applied the best technique and best products. I’ ve been struggling with many problems in my skin , darkness under eyes as well as sagging chin. I tried many clinics in Toronto and I was never been satisfied with the results. Only at D luxe Lab I got the desired results that last longer and in consistent manner. Thank you
My experience was overwhelmingly positive, from the moment I walked in I was greeted by a friendly staff member and was taken into the treatment room.I felt that my concerns were validated and a clear plan was put in place to address those concerns. I really want to highlight the detailed and comprehensive plan that Dr. Basil put in place, as well as the professionalism and knowledgeability of the nurses and staff at the clinic. The results were overwhelming positive, my skin looks much better, and I highly recommend using the products as advised since it played a major role in keeping my skin clear, and results long-lasting.
