Such a great restaurant for lunch. Kyra and William are especially amazing and they are the reason I come back so often. Just amazing service and tasty food.
The Thai tea is just ready made tea in the fridge in a giant container mixed with creamer. Tried both the tofu and chicken Pad Thais which were dry, with little flavour and overpriced
I really loved Basil Box in Sq1 and since moving away from the city, I have been wanting to eat there again. Decided to go before a Blue Jays game and grab a bite at this location. I thought the Path would take us there but Google mapped us outside. I am not used to the Path so heads up if you aren't either. My order was taken quickly and there wasn't a fresh restock of any of the food. We were getting the ends of the bins and due to this, some.of the food was either dry or hard. They have more toppings that you can add but before you were able to get two sauces and now you have to pay for the extra sauce. They only give you 1 with the meal and my food was still very dry for me. After paying, I saw a promo for 2 hand crafted drinks for $5 with the purchase of a box. I asked the worker what the hand crafted drinks were and he was so confused and had no idea what I was talking about. The other worker stepped in, explained and punched in a price override for my drink order. Overall, it was not the same meal that I remembered and expected. The prices have increased (obviously) and the portions got smaller. Shame but I won't be going out of my way to visit Basil Box again.
This location is part of a food court in the basement of the RBC building. A good option for a work lunch if your office is nearby. You can choose one of their bowls or create your own. There is a good selection of toppings (proteins, veggies, and sauces). The food court gets quite busy during lunch, but there is a lot of seating and they tables turnover quickly.
Basil Box is always my go-to when im looking for something to eat at work. Food is great, bit let me tell you about the service here. I dont know her name, but the energy of the lady who works there! She truly exemplifies customer service! I'll always be a customer here.
Discovered this hidden gem of a Yogurt Drink store in Basil. Tried mango yogurt and It was absolutely fantastic! The flavors were on point, and I can't wait to come back for more. A must-try for yogurt enthusiasts! and for sure Chicken pad Thai is amazing as always!
