Presto only! As an added bonus, I get to wander around looking for the main entrance on a hot hot Toronto day. The guide map provided on the station provided is not too useful for someone who doesnt know the city.
My favourite line 4 station, great art and exits
The art at this station is very interesting, it really pops out when you stand at the correct location. The station is fully accessible, the elevators are a noticable distance from each other.
I was extremely surprised by the reviews, all of which give a 5 given that this is one of the worse designed subway station that I have ever seen.To start, the main entrance is on a hill so you have to walk up quite a bit, which can be tricky if you say do some grocery shopping in the adjacent mall only to descend again to the metro level. The second entry is somewhat lower, but you cannot get in unless you already have your coin and it is still quite far from the shopping area. Common sense would have put an entrance close to the mall.Additionally, for the people requiring elevators, you need to go with two elevators to descend to the metro level and they are not close to each other either. This type of sloppiness in design is ok when you update a renovate a 100 year old station, but, given the fact that this stations were build relatively recently (around 10-12 years) the design is appalling and shameful.
Nice subway station, but it would be nice if they had an escalator on the Sheppard south side exit.
