I use this station every single day and often end up waiting 40 minutes for the Dufferin bus to arrive. On several occasions I have documented hordes of people accumulating at the unsheltered stop, waiting for the bus in subzero temperatures and by the time it hits Dufferin subway station there are literally HUNDREDS of people shoving to get on a bus with little room to spare. On many a ride I have witnessed people having anxiety attacks, crying, yelling out for help.Commuters start getting aggressive and increasingly aggravated as each time the bus stops, more and more humans are crammed into the sardine can vessel. "Please move back" continues to play 5 times in a row and the bus driver becomes increasingly anxious about their inability to close doors and progress to the next stop. It's horrible and it's the part of my day I dread the most.
Busy place surprisingly efficient. Give yourself a little extra time & youl be ok.
Okay design I guess, but The bus stop is always SO BUSY, mainly because the bus comes about ever 20 MINUTES!!!!!
The #29 Sufferin' Bus is a shuttle straight from hell. Every day, and at any time of day, hordes of agitated commuters in a temporary stupor wait for the elusive and never reliable Transit System of The Year. Where are they going? Anywhere, as long as it's far away from here. Then, when at long last they hear those tin-can coffins come-a-rattlin' down the busted up street, usually in a fleet of 3 or 4 at a time, they climb, kick, and claw their way through the crowd, only to charge the doors of a rocket already crammed with still more miserable human cattle. Oh, did you actually think you were gonna make it out of here alive? Sorry, buddy boy, "this bus is now out of service."O/5 stars.
