  Okay selection, certainly geared towards sci-fi and fantasy. Fiction and Canadiana selections are alright. Prices are fair (many classics and newish volumes for $5!) and there is (currently?) a buy-three-get-one-free sale. But some books were overpriced for their quality (e.g., a water-logged and wrinkled copy of Shoeless Joe by W.P. Kinsella for $11?). Bizarre.

  Thanks for the stars. We do have a Sci-Fi Fantasy room but it is only about 20% of the store. Yes, the sale is ongoing... thanks for noticing it. Seems like we got some pricing right, we will work on doing better with the outliers! :-)

  Despite the narrow lanes, and cramped appearance RE: Reading was was a pleasure to be in. I've gone I na few times and the staff have always been wonderful and helpful. The book selection is fantaalstic and pricing is extremely fair. If I lived in Toronto, I'd be there more often.

  I enjoyed looking over some books there. But i didn’t find what i was looking for particularly. Quiet and good environment. Customer service could be better.

  This place is incredible and the owner is delightful. Even if you don't need any books (but who could say such a thing?), stop by for the superb decor and a chat. It's the Stormcrow of book stores!

  the owner slammed the books on the counter as I paid for them. I asked to please not do that-- he did not take it well. Not exactly a book lover. I believe books are just "widgets" for him. My friend said he always gives off "creepy vibes" when she goes in there. We both decided to go elsewhere for our books. Thankfully in Toronto there are many bookstores and of course there is online too.

  Amazing used bookstore with a fantastic owner. We talked about how he started the bookstore today and I left so inspired. It is wonderful to enter a space curated by a person who is so fulfilled by what they're doing ❤️ The book selection is great too!

  Such a beautiful store with very unique decorations! There is something to discover everywhere you look. There is a great selection of books, movies, tv shows...etc. - truly something for everyone.
