I was initially going to give this store a 1-star rating. However, after reading other reviews and noticing what seems to be a change in sales representatives, along with other factors, I’ve decided to give it 2 stars instead. I visited most of the watch stores in Yorkdale yesterday and wanted to provide honest feedback. My goal is for your location to succeed and deliver the best possible customer experience. As an Omega retailer, it’s important to represent the brand standard. 1. The sales associates appeared to lack product knowledge. I came in specifically to inquire about the Snoopy, fully aware it wouldn’t be available. You did have similar Speedmaster models that could have been presented as alternatives, yet none were offered. 2. I asked to see the Speedmaster Professional with the white dial. The associate’s responses felt disengaged and brief, showing limited interest in supporting my questions. The Speedmaster, particularly as the base platform for releases like the 50th Anniversary Snoopy edition, deserves knowledgeable representation. I don’t expect associates to know every technical detail, but they should at least deliver the Omega experience—similar to what competitors like Rolex or Tudor consistently provide. Omega is a brand I’ve admired for years. It carries generational significance in my family, as my mother gifted one to my father, which sparked my interest. That’s why this visit was disappointing. First impressions matter, and I left uncertain whether I would return to this location. I came in hoping not to spend over $13,000 online just to experience the Omega standard in person. The additional star is for the individual who answered my call—professional and helpful. My hope is that this store invests in training its team to deliver the elevated customer experience expected from a brand known for excellence in watchmaking and engineering
Shoutout to Joanna who guided me through buying my first Omega Speedmaster. Her knowledge and warm approach made the occasion exactly what I hoped for.
I visited the Omega boutique last weekend interest in the Seamaster 007 NTTD, and the overall experience fell short of what a luxury brand should deliver. I wasn’t acknowledged until I initiated the interaction, and the engagement that followed was minimal - I was shown only the specific watch I asked for, with no meaningful conversation or effort to understand my interest. For a brand positioned at this level, that level of service is unacceptable. Experiences like this make it difficult to justify choosing retail over the grey market.
Very subpar experience, will take my money elsewhere. This was my first time visiting an Omega store as I wanted to become aquatinted with the brand and unfortunately it left a sour taste. It was a Monday afternoon, so a slow day with no other customers in store. The salesperson was probably having Monday blues or something. Zero enthusiasm, very passive, with “‘more than you can afford” attitude. I did not feel welcome and all my questions felt like a bother to him. On the plus side the store was clean, well designed, and had good inventory on display. C’est la vie, the art of sale is slowly getting lost in the modern world, but we as customers have the freedom of choosing where to spend money.
I visited the store on October 19th with my friend, and the blonde lady greeted me with such a warm smile and open heart. She even let me try on one of the watches I’ve been dreaming of getting. What touched me most was her kindness and respect, even though I wasn’t dressed like someone who could afford that watch. That small gesture truly made my day. Hopefully by end of next month ill be placing my order.?
My wife purchase a 40th birthday gift at this location for me. I decided to exchange the watch she purchased for me. Marissa the store director was so patient with me. I actually exchanged my watch twice, ordered a different watch which i decided not to take and she was still kind, sweet and understanding. I am so happy with my gift now. Thank you Marissa.
Mark at the service desk was great. Got my Omega all sorted out, replaced the missing screw in no time and gave the watch a much needed clean. Very helpful!
