My wife and I literally looked at every photography company functioning in the GTA and the Big Day Photo and Video was, hands down, the best. Their natural colour grades and editorial posing style made our pictures look like a movie poster. They were incredibly collaborative, creative, professional, and talented. We could not be more happy with their work, both for our engagement and wedding photos. They went above and beyond to help on our day and worked within our vision and priorities. Tash, Rocco, Tia, and Gavin were the greatest photographers! We are so happy that we chose them. From our engagement shoot to our wedding teasers, we cannot wait to see the final product! Every team member was extremely kind, directable, professional and were not afraid to step in to ensure we had a wonderful day and get the shots we wanted. Rocco was a better bridesmaid at points, LOL! We wish we could get married again to have them as our photographers again. We will and are highly recommending them to all of our friends! We absolutely loved working with Tash & Rocco for our wedding on August 11th 2023 at the Kortright Centre for Conservation. They were also kind enough to spend a few hours with us at our henna party the night before at Rosalinda restaurant. The two of them are incredibly kind, patient, and supportive, and truly do everything they can to capture your day in the way you imagine. We had the opportunity to meet with them before the wedding, and they ensure that they know exactly what posed pictures you want, which types of candids you’d prefer to have, and overall vision for how the day will be captured. In moments when the day isn’t going perfectly to schedule (which usually happens!) they were flexible and were creating opportunities to capture the day beautifully without being prompted at all. They are true professionals and lovely individuals, and you’ll leave the day feeling like you’ve made two new friends. We greatly appreciate the sneak peeks they offer after 48 hours. Not all photographers offer this, and it was so exciting to be able to experience the day through their lens so soon after :) Thank you The Big Day, and highly encourage anyone to work with these amazing humans!
I cannot reccomend The Big Day enough. They have continuously exceeded all of our expectations. We met Tash and Rocco in 2020 where we did a fun couple photoshoot in the distillery district. We recieved more edited photos than expected and were so impressed with the finished product. We then decided to have them do our May 2023 wedding photography and videography. Tash and Rocco are so personable, work incredibly well together and make everyone around them feel comfortable. All of our wedding party and our guests raved about how lovely they were. They are incredible at directing people around so that they look good and natural in photos. As the bride and groom we barely realized how much footage they were getting. Rocco ran around us during the ceremony, ducking as to not block guests views and ultimately got so much content! We recieved about 50 edited photos 12 hours after our wedding had ended which was so exciting. Then we recieved all 1500 photos, a 10 minute highlight video and a 90 minute video with the ceremony and speeches within a month! The video is unbelievable and everyone that sees it is blown away. I didn't realize how much they filmed and all of the angles they got. The entire ceremony and speeches being filmed is so special. If you're debating doing video, do it and you will be so happy you did. Thank you so much Tash and Rocco for capturing our big day!
Rocco and Tash were honestly a dream to work with! My husband and I took both our engagement photos and wedding photos with them and we could not be happier with the end results. Their talent, dedication and skill shine through in the final product. Their warm personalities quickly put us at ease during our engagement shoot, and helped to calm our nerves in front of the camera and be able to relax and enjoy the experience. When we received our photos they were bright, airy, and so vibrant! By the time our wedding rolled around we were excited to get in front of the camera again. Photography was the most important vendor on our list and we’re so thankful we found them and were able to book them to capture the most important day of our lives on camera. We’ll have beautiful memories to cherish for a lifetime. They were kind, professional, attentive, talented, and dedicated throughout every step of the process and hustled hard our whole wedding to get all the shots we wanted.
