Our organization had our staff Christmas party last Friday, really good food (had roast beef), staff were friendly and attentive. The non-alcoholic bar was great, good drinks so inventive! We had a good time, would recommend to others!
Such an amazing venue!! From the first interaction with Gus and the team at Fantasy Farms, to the day of the wedding, we had a great experience. We had so many compliments from our guests on the delicious food served at the wedding, and they also huge portions! Definitely go with the BBQ option, as you won't regret it. The ceremony space outdoors also provided the perfect space for us to get married! We had the pleasure of working with Jeremy during the day of who ensured everything ran smoothly. Fantasy Farms was a great venue and we had no regrets choosing them for our wedding.
We had our wedding at Fantasy Farm Event Venue, and honestly… it was perfect. From the very first time we met Gus, we felt so at ease. He was straightforward, honest, and just genuinely good to work with. After visiting other venues that glossed over details or surprised us with hidden fees, it was so refreshing to talk to someone who was transparent about everything. Gus and Jeremy (the owner) have clearly been in the industry forever — they just get weddings. Because our wedding was in October, we knew weather could go either way, but we never felt stressed about it. Every time we brought up a “what if,” they already had an answer ready to go. In the end, we lucked out with a warm and sunny day, and the team executed everything flawlessly. Our guests are STILL talking about the food. Truly the best wedding food we’ve ever had — their barbecue was incredible, and we’re so glad we went with it. The service staff were amazing too! Everyone kept mentioning how friendly and helpful they were the entire night. On the day of, Jeremy was onsite helping our wedding planner with all the logistics — vendors, setup, timing, you name it. It was such a relief knowing everything (big and small) was being taken care of. We had the BEST DAY of our lives. Fantasy Farm itself is such a hidden gem. You’d never believe you’re right in the heart of Toronto — it feels like a little getaway tucked in nature. The fall colours made it even more beautiful, and it was super convenient for our guests coming from downtown and around the GTA. I wish we could re-live our wedding just to work with Gus and Jeremy again. If you’re even thinking about this venue… do it. We can’t recommend Fantasy Farm enough.
We had a fantastic wedding at Fantasy Farm. Jeremy and Gus were very easy to work with through the planning phase for our wedding and were attentive to all of our questions. They were able to provide a lot of good advice for the flow of the evening, and on multiple occasions gave us advice that saved us money when they could have taken another route. We greatly appreciated that! Their honesty and transparency in all of our conversations stood out to us. We had the ceremony outside in the back garden and it was a beautiful place for the ceremony. The gardens are very well kept and surrounded by old forest of the Don Valley. It is very picturesque and the trees enclose the area in a way that makes it feel more private and blocks out sounds from the city. You are getting married in the middle of Toronto but you do not feel that way. For the reception space, we booked the Ballroom for a smaller number of guests, and it worked out perfectly. Everyone had lots of space and guests could walk freely through the venue. The big windows of the venue look out onto the terrace and forest which creates great ambience. The Ballroom has high ceilings and a nice charm. On the day of the wedding, Jeremy was present almost the entire day, and he was a great coordinator. He worked with our day of coordinator that we hired separately very cooperatively, and the two of them had everything flowing perfectly. Jeremy knows how to time his jokes to get everyone feeling relaxed, and he did that multiple times during the wedding day. Even at the end of the night during clean up Jeremy was there giving advice and remaining patient, while we and our guests had just finished a lot of celebrating with many drinks, and that help was very appreciated! We greatly enjoyed the food at the wedding and we had lots of guests complement it as well. The appetizers during cocktail hour were all very flavorful and guests were helping themselves to lots, so you could tell all were enjoying. For the meal, we started with house made gnocchi and an arugula pear salad which were both delicious. We chose the BBQ option for our main course, and tons of guests remarked on how well cooked and flavorful the mains were. The staff at the venue were all very friendly and you could tell they all get along, as they were having a great time together as well. We couldn't be happier with our choice to get married at Fantasy Farm and we are glad this hidden gem in the Don Valley isn't far away. Thank you Jeremy, Gus, and Team for an amazing day!!
I rarely write reviews but the service I received during my company’s Christmas party was exceptional. I can’t express sufficiently how happy we were with the people, food and the facility. Looking forward to coming back again.
We got married at Fantasy Farm three weeks ago and could not have picked a better venue. The entire team was so thoughtful and communicated very well. We did most of our planning with Gus, who was very responsive, informative, and approachable. During our rehearsal, we met Jeremy (the owner) and Marc who was our day-of coordinator. Both were very easy to work with. Marc was so professional and knowledgeable. He made the day run smoothly and was so attentive to us and our family. The venue itself is gorgeous and the grounds were perfect for fall photos. It's truly a hidden gem. The food probably needs its own review! Most importantly, it's worth mentioning how attentive they were to our guests with allergies and restrictions.. but overall the food was amazing. Our guests are still talking about how perfectly cooked the steak and salmon were. I particularly loved the poached pear and arugula salad. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Overall, a great day! Thank you to the whole Fantasy Farm team. We are so happy we chose to get married there.
From the moment we stepped on the property, we knew that Fantasy Farm was our dream wedding venue. The grounds are beautiful, and the venue’s staff are amazing. Gus was fantastic! He was always there to help whenever we had a question or concern. He was very honest, always open to any ideas that we had, and would always try to make them work. We also dealt with Jeremy, Brian, and Mark who were all spectacular. These guys always went above and beyond. Without a word, they all stepped in to support us after we had to fire our wedding planner and helped us have a fantastic day. The food was great – they accommodated every food allergy/dietary restriction without any issues. The bar and wait staff were wonderful, kind and professional. And the venue has so many great spots and hidden gems for photos. 100/10 would recommend it to everyone.
