Owner of a black wide body RAM truck swerved and caused near-crash accidents just shows how irresponsible, unprofessional, and dangerous the people work here. Bad image to put out there. Will be filing legal proceedings to authorities.
I do NOT recommend this company! My experience with Vinyl Window Designs Ltd (which also goes by the name Performance Windows & Doors) left me unsettled. The employee they sent to work on my windows was 30 minutes late, but beyond that, he exhibited behaviour that was highly inappropriate. When I addressed this issue he was unapologetic and then simply refused to complete the work he was sent to do. If you're in to ill mannered work men who don't show up on time and don't care to complete the work, give these guys a call. But it's a 0/5 for me.

After replacing all our home's windows manufactured by VWD Ltd., most recently, the seal in 2 panes of different windows became defective Aug/2020. Long story short, as of this issue, the warranty after service has been TERRIBLE. After long delays, multiple emails/calls, we've had incorrect grilles in the replacement panes 5X; not even bringing the pane for one of them most recently today. There is NO excuse for such utter incompetence and delay!
Earlier today a young woman in customer service really helped me out. I am repairing a screen for a friend, and have found it impossible to source appropriate vinyl corners to fit the rails for this screen. In this day and age, with 'right to repair' becoming an increasingly hot topic, I am very happy to be dealing with a company that supports its own products. Thank you VWD.
My problem for not having service was due to miscommunication, after several months of trying to contact them. I finally able to get really good service...
In 2009 we spent thousands for 15 windows - all of which carry Vinyl Window Designs' Lifetime Warranty. Well over a year ago two of them started losing their UV protection. I have been waiting for this company to honour their warranty and replace the glass. Multiple emails, phone calls, and constantly being ignored. It usually takes 5 or 6 emails before I get any response at all. Now, today, over a year later, one piece of glass has finally been sent to a place in Manitoba for me to arrange pick up. Why they completely ignored the need to send two, why they ignored my regularly asking where the two pieces of glass were.....I am shocked this company is still in business. If I could give it negative stars, I would.
