I hate to say this but I am disappointed in the lack of communication to your patrons. I really did adore your shop and go out of my way several times to transit to you guys specifically. However, I have arrived at your store now for TWO days in row only for it to be closed without any update on your socials. I came by yesterday (Tuesday) at 11:30am. I waited in the area and there was no post about being closed for the day until 1pm! I was here again today at 12:15 this afternoon. Again, no update. I just checked your IG now and you post at 1pm that you’ll be open at 3 instead? It’s frustrating. I even messaged your Instagram earlier in the day asking if you’d be open. No response. Again I messaged after I got there. Nothing. Instagram is a platform which you have listed in your site as a method to contact you. So this is incredibly annoying. I enjoyed your shop a lot and I wanted to be a loyal customer despite not living close by but honestly this inconsistency is turning me away as I cannot rely on your listed operating hours nor your communication. Thank you.
Loved the knitting lesson with Liz! She and Mariah are so nice and helpful. Frankie (the dog) is also sweet. I'll definitely get supplies here once I start on my first project.
I was in town for a show and happened upon this store. It was fate. The yarn was so pretty and there were so many notions. I was able to get some xmas shopping done and got a skein for myself. Highly recommend.
I really appreciate that they a range of options from affordable to pricier! Very friendly and knowledgeable and it was great to meet Frankie. For out of towners- be sure to stop here!
Super fast delivery, the packaging is on point with the branding. The Good Grief hanks are so beautifully dyed, it's my first bundle of hand dyed yarns ever. I'm glad I'm able to support a local yarn shop. Excited to use them in my beginner knitting projects, thanks Mariah!
Went for the first time with a friend and we could have easily spent five hours in the store. Mariah was SO friendly and helpful, we had so many questions and she was able to guide us to some gorgeous yarns. The shop had a huge selection and we couldn’t stop finding new skeins to obsess over. I left with some of Good Grief’s own brushed alpaca and I can’t wait to cast on! Bonus: adorable dog to pet ❤️
I received exceptional customer service after placing an online order. I had a special request and the owner, Mariah, was so obliging and helpful. We conversed several times over e-mail and despite my many (annoying, I’m sure) questions she was always so kind and helpful. She even provided free shipping although my order total was slightly short. My package arrived quickly and had a sweet thank you note enclosed. I love all of my “goodies” that I ordered. I can’t say enough great things about Mariah and her lovely store.
