What a lovely yarn store with huge selection of yarn and books. Very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommended! Thank you very much for your excellent service! Will be back.

Know what you need because the staff show no interest or desire to help you. What used to be Romni on Queen where product and service was top notch, has become a store of dis-interested staff.

Are you a fabric creative looking for a special place to source, gather and inco rporate a unique and beautiful material into your next project? Look no further!! An impressive new location and packed with a staff full of years of experience and a well curated supply for your next project!! You can thank me later!

Used to have great sales in the basement but now none of the yarn is labeled with price and it’s not worth digging through to find a 1% of the yarn that’s affordable. This place used to be my favourite. Beautiful place but really overpriced.

This was my first yarn store outside of the states and I have to say, this place is huge! We've got all types of yarn and other needle crafts. Downstairs they have yarn for a dollar! A DOLLAR!!! I had the pleasure of meeting Dana(? I'm sorry I am so bad with names). She was precious and lovely. Walked me around the store, gave me great budget friendly recommendations on yarn, needles, AND restaurants. I love her, I would like to take her with me. (If I'm wrong on her name, she's a petite brunette wears amethysts) 10/10 good selection and great people.

I couldn’t shake the feeling that I was treated ‘differently’ in this store because of my race. The owner was friendly to all the other customers, but she ignored me or treated me as invisible, as I was the only Asian in the store. Unlike other customers, the workers didn’t even say hello when I entered the store, and even when I asked questions, they pretended not to hear me. She even blamed the store’s mistake on me and behaved really rudely towards me. I don’t think anyone should be discriminated against because of race, and I hope the owner of this store agrees with me.

I ordered online and my order was filled and shipped quickly. It is very nice to have a Canadian business to order from when my local store here in Victoria doesn't have what I need. I use a lot of cotton yarns and have specific brands I like which Romni has in a variety of colors. I will look forward to ordering again and visiting in person the next time I am in Toronto.
