I had an outstanding experience at Appliance Canada on Castlefield Road, purchasing a refrigerator and a dishwasher, and I want to especially highlight the exceptional service provided by Benero. The atmosphere was pleasant and the moment I walked in, Ben was warm, welcoming, and genuinely focused on helping me find exactly what I needed. What truly stood out was his kindness, patience, and thoughtfulness. He never once made me feel rushed or pressured. Instead, he took the time to answer all my questions, explain every option clearly, and walk me through the features and differences with remarkable thoroughness. His approach was refreshingly professional—knowledgeable without being pushy, supportive without trying to upsell. It’s rare to encounter a salesperson who combines expertise with such genuine care for the customer experience. Thanks to Benero, the entire process was smooth, stress-free, and actually enjoyable. I left feeling confident in my choices and extremely satisfied with the service I received. Called the store and spoke with Leigh, she was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. I was looking for specific unit, she was able to check stock quickly for me but unfortunately they did not have it in stock. will definitely try again for my next appliance need.
Terrible warranty service—Appliance Canada dumps repairs on a contractor called Distinctive. They with zero infrastructure for tracking repair progress or supporting customers between the 2 companies when delays inevitably occur. It’s been six weeks without a washer, and now the very part needed to fix it appears to have been lost in the void. When I called for an update, the service rep had absolutely no information and instructed me to chase down both the company and the technician myself—despite having already done exactly that. One side insists the part was shipped; the other claims it’s on backorder. Their combined negligence is astonishing—as if it’s my responsibility, the warranty holder, to conduct their investigative work. To top it off, the same rep actually bragged that they’d “gone above and beyond.” Above and beyond what, exactly? Six weeks of in updates, contradictory stories, and constant accountability deflection. Buy your appliance from Appliance Canada if you want—just don’t count on them when you actually need a repair.
Disappointing experience. Sales staff were unprofessional throughout the process. We came in looking for a simple microwave. Expressed interest in a big Panasonic unit. They tell us that they have none in stock and originally said they would sell the floor model but then couldn’t. Has his manager come over and pull out a unit that was just returned from some back room which was half the size of what we wanted (not comparable at all). Asked to order the original model we were looking at as we didn’t mind waiting for it. Salesperson comes back with a price much higher than the sticker on the unit and we had to ask him to honour the price that was advertised, which he eventually did. We were told it would be available in a couple of weeks to pickup at the store. No problem. Two-ish weeks passes and I have no call, so I contacted the salesperson who tells me it’s arrived already (thanks for letting me know!) and that I had to go pick it up at their location in Vaughan, which we never agreed to do. We are <5 min away from this location and 30+ min out of our way to go to Vaughan. Clearly they did not value our time. Salesperson had the audacity to tell me it would cost $70 to ship it from one of their locations to the other and that they had no incentive to eat that cost. I reminded him that we never agreed to pick it up in Vaughan and, all of a sudden, the unit is available for pickup in the correct location the day after. When I finally went to pick it up, the receptionist also treated me like I was inconveniencing her by picking up a single box quickly. I leave two stars because the unit was not damaged and we got a very good price in the end, but I will not be returning for future appliance needs.
My wife and I visited Appliance Canada on Castlefield to purchase a washer & dryer. We were immediately greeted at the door by Lee. She was extremely pleasant, welcoming, attentive and, above all helpful. She assessed our needs and had Larry Galea, the manger, take over to review the various pros and cons of each option. He was easy to deal with, and, although he had a pending meeting, was patient with us, taking the time with us to ensure our needs were satisfied. We are extremely happy with our decision to go to Appliance Canada. The value of a business is determined by its staff and my wife and I highly recommend this store!!!
Working with Charles Myers at Appliance Canada was a great experience. He is conscientious, thorough, knowledgeable, and all around helpful when we needed to navigate a range of products for our kitchen renovation. He provided great advice on appliance models, functionality and value for money. He helped us quickly resolve an issue related to a component that we needed for our fridge/freezer and worked to make sure that we had all of our appliances available for delivery in time for the installation of our kitchen. I absolutely recommend working with him. He's been absolutely wonderful.
I received so much help from Larry Galea at this location. Despite all of the pandemic order challenges, he was able to provide the best prices and was very knowledgeable about all of his products. I can definitely recommend buying from him.
