Was worried about this place because it has 1000 items on the menu, from tacos to pasta dishes, salad bowls - but since it has BBQ PIT in the name, I figured I couldn’t go wrong with a brisket sandwich (I think it’s called Fidel Castro) It was the worst brisket I have ever had in my life. Extremely dry (look at pics) I also got poutine, and that was mediocre at best. I feel bad leaving such a harsh review, but after wasting $40 - I wouldn’t recommend this place
I had a very good experience at this steakhouse. The food was delicious, and the meat mix was tender and full of flavor. The service was attentive, and the atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable. I ate at the place, and the food came out quite quickly, which was a nice surprise. I would definitely recommend it. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures. But I'll be back!
Poutine was amazing! The veggie burger was great, not like the crappy tasting ones you get in most restaurants. I had a few other dishes and they were all good as well. Server was really nice and the place was clean
Ordered through Uber. Called about having fries with the order because Uber charges you for it. Overall I would rather eat at the restaurant than order out. The ribs were great not fall off the bone but really good 6.8/10. The fries were soggy but that’s probably because of delivery. Their coleslaw made me vomit unfortunately. Maybe they used past the date veggies, but wouldn’t try that again!! Either way the ribs should’ve been a bigger portion. Other than that 6.8/10 for the food
A great local BBQ spot with an extremely good menue to please everyone. The ribs were next level. The. Fudh and chips were amazing. Our host was so Pleasant and cheerful. Will definitely be back
Massive shoutout to Nkosie and the kitchen staff working Nov 8. We booked a large group for my birthday. They are by far the best staff in the city. Nkosie took the time to walk each of us through the menu with recommendations! His patience and energy were greatly appreciated. I could not have asked for a better atmosphere. The kitchen staff took care of our birthday cake and even added fruits to elevate the presentation. If you stop by you must try the house lager and the redonkadonk
Nkosi is the man! Every restaurant owner needs to take a page out of his book. His energy, charisma, personality and attitude is absolutely exceptional. I will return because of him. He has made it one of the best experiences ever.
