I ordered the French Benedict and it was mediocre at best. Not very flavorful. The only noticeable taste was cinnamon for some reason. Who puts cinnamon in a savory dish, and in a croque madame of all things?! A weirdly bland dish. Disappointing.
My Dad’s favourite breakfast, and brunch spot in Leaside - hands down. As a result our family became regulars at this location so I have eaten here at least a dozen times. The Eggsmart at Brentcliffe is run by very caring professionals; the owners, manager and the whole team extend a warm welcome every time. They know my Dad so well now, his regular order goes in as he walks in the door! Coffee refills are seemingly endless, and they offer a varied menu, and attentive service. Food is fresh, portion sizes are generous. The tables and environment always very clean.
Food was delicious. I was starving because I hadn’t had any time to have breakfast during the first 4 hours of my day. Lucky for me the service was impressively fast! I believe it took about 10 minutes for the food to come out. I almost cried tears of joy at how fast the food was ready. Our server, Maria was very friendly and attentive. The place itself looks newly renovated and is kept very clean. One of the best eggsmarts I’ve visited!
My husband and I went here for my birthday and we had a bad experience. My coffee had grinds in it, our food was sent to someone else and they had to remake ours, they forgot our drink orders twice, and my fork smelt like dirty dog.
Just out of curiosity and because I was tired after the week I wanted to try this egg smart. The egg and potatoes were dry. I really didn't like the food. The service was quick though. Not sure if I will give this place a 2nd chance. It's the nearest to my place though. I still stand by what I said, just came back from the place 2023-09-23 never again never never. I would rather drive a long distance to the other one where they actually know how to cook. Burned eggs this time around. I didn't ever bother with the rest of the food and their orange juice because I was just overral disgusted. Ate the avocado and bacon from the keto. I usually never write a bad review this is the 1st time I have been this disappointed. A big waste of my time. If I could give a 0 star I would.
