Christian was simply outstanding. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us with great professionalism and immediately made us feel comfortable, as if we were regular guests. Throughout the evening, he took genuine care of our experience, handling even small kitchen issues with discretion and efficiency. His attention to detail, availability, and sincere dedication to the guest experience truly made the difference. A level of service that stays with you and makes you want to come back.
My husband and I had a cocktail party at Compton Ave for our wedding. We invited 20 of our closest friends and had a *blast*. The food was delicious (I wish I had some of those olives and Scotch eggs right now) and the drinks were so curated in the best possible way. I felt so spoiled—and the bartender made us all sorts of custom things too. The groomsmen were so in love with their cocktail that they named their WhatsApp group after it. (It was the 1282 Abbey Road, by the way.) Big thanks to Igor for making it all happen!
Amazing service - it was busy, however the host came to take our order so we don’t have to wait. The cocktails were the best, next time definitely eating there as well.
The best and fanciest Xmas bar for a date in Toronto. It’s not downtown but easy to Uber here. Cocktails are not cheap, as you’d expect. They’re tasty and look cool so still worth getting one for chill and photos. You need a reso long in advance to get to booking! Only feedback I’d give is the staff should tell people to not take photos for 20 mins next to the Xmas tree. It’s disturbing and ruins the peace… it’s just non stop fake influencers posing (yes some people spend 20 mins standing there)
We had an absolutely wonderful evening at Compton Ave. Our experience exceeded our expectations. We were seated right at the front by the beautiful Christmas tree and decorations. The bartender was very knowledgeable and friendly while serving us. Everything was served in an exquisite manner with so much attention to detail. We enjoyed the Crosby’s hot cocoa from the Christmas cocktail menu as well as their sticky toffee pudding. I also tried their Noche de Pina drink from their contemporary menu which was 5 stars. I would consider ordering it again from the balance of unique flavours. I would love to return to try more from their extensive cocktail menu.
Nice cocktail bar with chill vibe. A bit too noisy for the atmosphere and service was slow but not terrible. Drinks were good, typical 20-30$ per cocktail. Wine list was small but we had a couple of bottles of white. Fries were okay but needed a second deep fry to crisp them up. Olives were good and nicely presented. We were 7 people and had a nice lounge area and would go there again.
Recently attended a large gathering to celebrate a birthday! Claire and her team were incredible - especially given the size of the group. The cocktails were fantastic and the service was impeccable. Can’t wait to visit again!
