Great atmosphere and great food, really loved the cocktails-Naked matcha was my favorite ~ Live jazz was great too they played Ghibli. Would definitely go again with friends.
It’s extremely over priced for tiny portions and the food is amateur and mediocre. Miso steak was very chewy and salty. The cocktails are also very subpar. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody. I think they are paying for marketing on social media because I fell for it too lol. This place is bordering on scam level, tons of better places to go to in Toronto.
I wish I could do 4.5 because the food is good but not amazing... because unfortunately the cocktails are so insanely amazing that it makes me wish the food were at that level. The mixologist is so insanely talented. Standouts are the savoury pho cocktail and the bltini. Taste exactly like what they are but don't let that scare you. Matcha bpulevardier also very good. Been a couple times and haven't had a bad drink there. Great atmosphere. Fills up fast. I would say don't come with more than 4 people
Great bar Love the vibe (1990s Korea vibe) Music selection was good Food portion is EXTREMELY small tho Their alcohol is VERTYYYY GOOD their yuzu cocktail doesn’t even taste like alcohol (in a good way)
The vibe and aesthetic of this place, feels like a fusion of vintage Japan/Korea. Servers constantly check up on us and recommended a few items. I always enjoy the Uni Bruschetta. The manager’s brother took his time to talk to us and explain the concept/story of the bar/theme, had an amazing time here! They have a live dj, usually playing japanese lo-fi or jazz/lounge, washrooms provide a different theme of music to feel more calm from a vintage radio! Reservations are recommended as this place can get really busy!
As a foodie, I never wrote a review when the food or service was bad. But for this time, I should make a comment. I was surprised of the taste in the worst martini in my life. I felt awaken from my tired day with the taste after having two sips. The service and atmosphere is good though.
Don’t eat here. They don’t care about the Neighbourhood. They block peoples doors in the laneway. Lots of neighbours have been complaining and they don’t care. Keep parking in no parking areas. Be considerate put your car on the side streets. Stop blocking people. Parking ticket cops have been called still they ignore. Don’t need disrespectfully bar owners.
