This spot seriously needs to be on the Michelin Guide already. The service, the vibe, the food… everything was dialed all the way up. I went for my birthday dinner about eight months ago, and it was easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. They even brought out shots with a bubble machine. Completely unhinged, completely iconic. The food slapped. I had the beef tartare, my friend ordered the ceviche, the short rib was straight-up insane, the oyster mushrooms were seasoned perfectly, and the dessert.. that chocolate cake with cherries (or berries not sure)? Unreal. I’m extremely picky with restaurants in Toronto, but this place hits every single mark. Paired with the level of service, it’s a 10 out of 10 without hesitation.
Phenomenal atmosphere and drinks, and our waiter/ bartender Nick was very knowledgeable about the drinks. The drinks were creative and top notch, definitely unique twists and worth the visit for their interesting flavours and delightful presentation. My only critique, the calamansi tart (which looked stunning) had a very muted calamansi flavour and it was overwhelmed by the richness meringue and tart shell (which were phenomenal on their own, but would have been better with a more tart lemon or lime curd). Phenomenal ambiance and decor, would definitely go back and try their savory offerings and other food options!
Cool bar with great food. Service was fantastic. Highly recommended. Had 2 cocktails and the chicken sando - all fantastic. The bread of the sando was cold though
A group of 5 of us dined last night to celebrate our girlfriend’s birthday and had such a fantastic time. Our server Janai took amazing care of us and made the experience so memorable. All of the food was spectacular stand outs being the kaarage, uni toast and tartare. The whole group agreed we would absolutely return for a date night in the future. Go with someone who loves sharing and try everything! As for cocktails not a single one missed, my friends were all super pleased with their choices and Janai did a great job helping everyone land on their initial order.
Came here with some friends for an after dinner nightcap. They had some tasty looking drinks on their menu. I ordered a drink called the Cowboy Bebop. Definitely anime fans. Loved the drink and our server was friendly.
I absolutely loved my experience at No Vacancy! The cocktails were amazing, creative, and delicious, and the food was great. I'll definitely be coming back
The bar staff were very nice. The mixed drinks were great. The food however was bland and all tasted the same. I guess this is a place you would go for a drink after dinner. Hard pass on the food. The atmosphere is kind of generic dealer. Not my cup of tea.
