We came from Ireland for 10 weeks and the EarlyON at Dondlands was a true blessing. Elvira, Mariana and the rest of the team were really welcoming. They are true professionals, dedicated to the kids. Every day they have different activities set up for them: painting, sensory activities, play dough, musical instruments etc Then, during circle time they get really involved, singing and dancing with the kids. Getting them to choose the songs, do the mimics, etc. We have been going since early July and they never repeated a story, they always look for something new. The environment is so nice, clean and friendly. It was a blessing to find a place like home away from home. My baby (now 20 months) has learnt a lot in the last few weeks and every time we sing Sleepy bunnies we will remember our summer in Toronto. Also, wanna mention the whole team from Eastview (Cecilia, Natalie, Aisha) that organise all the field trips. We went to the ROM as a family and loved the experience. Also participated on the Teddy bear picnic. Can’t express how grateful we are to have found such a great group of people to spend our summer with. Thanks for everything. Mile, Shane and Patrick

I usually visit for their food bank services, which is adequate for probably no more than 2 people MAX. They give you just enough food to last you about a week and with that it’s also nutritious enough and hits every food group (grained, cereal, protein bars and meat, plant based items, salty and savoury snacks that are all usually healthy). I received fruit and vegetables that last me for two weeks sometimes especially if I froze some of it. There are even milk and some food alternatives here, lots of options! My partner was recently able to drop by to pick up their thanksgiving items this week and we received two turkey legs, fresh cranberries, corn on the cobs a bunch of really useful fruit and veggies to also add to the meal. We are so satisfied with they food bank services. Great for emergencies.

Iam not going to give no more stars. they’re so mean to me when I go there Lauren Jackson, laugh at me with her coworkers that is discrimination .iam not happy going there’s nobody you can go to to get the help about bullying by a Adult.

This community space has kindness and community care in spades. Located in the east end where biologic and geographic needs are met in the city's east end. The children's development and care program look stellar, as observed by the awesome outdoor activity spaces. I personally visit Eastview for the food bank on Tuesdays from 12pm - 2pm - this was my first food bank that I started using some time ago, kind and welcoming everyone here has been from the get go. I've come to enjoy seeing many patrons during my many visits. it feels like a community for the sake of living with inclusion of all in and of itself. A glimpse of the kind of sustainable living that forward thinkers put great effort in work to create models for living towards friendlier to earth and each other. This community is a prime example of how everyone leads naturally with inclusion with respect to living sustainably, truly for all. Even the cops occasionally spare an officer to do duty serving patrons. Good place for anyone to align face front with pride. Eastview sits downhill a small but great playground with geodesic structures for climbing or dreaming alongside science and nature. Nearby is a cemetery serving our Jewish community for those reverent of our past. It brings an added solemnness to the area, offering a certain grace. I am a person who values sincerity and admire individul attentiveness to kindness that I witness at all my visits to Eastview, always leaving with a smile feeling in some sort of way supported past that weeks nourishing haul. I do thank you very kindly Eastview for the support of the community and myself you serve each week without fail. I count you indeed the epitome of community support at its finest. Eastview is part of the daily bread food bank network so if you're in the service area, it is open to all I believe. So do register, and do visit, and do be kind, and of course grateful.

A great place to be! You Need to go check out the programming they offer incredible new experiences, mostly for free! Just had on a cross-country skiing at $0, went on a coach bus with wifi, they provided breakfast, and dinner! I'd tap that.. subscription.

Its a Great Community Centre. In the morning they have a well equipped drop in centre opened from 9:30-1 they do circle time around 10:30 and they give snack to the kids after it. There is another program for kids at 1:30 that help kids get ready for school. (kids 3 years old) They also have after school program (6-11/12 years old) On Sunday they have different programs, for parent's and kids. It's such a good vibe place full of positive energy.

Absolutely horrible . The disorganization and lack of communication between staff members of the food bank is unbelievable. So bad I chose to walk out with tears in my eyes without getting a box of food. Serving persons before noon. While everyone else's waits in line. Single persons coming on Tuesday even though they were told it's for families. Computer has been down for two weeks therefore making it possible to see how many people are in your family. Never again will I use your services again....

I am sorry you feel that you have been bullied. We do not allow bullying of any kind. You can always come and speak to me, Kerry Bowser, the Executive Director, if you feel bullied at Eastview.
