Clean, quiet, user-friendly space. I rented a dedicated desk while in town for a month. The space was part of a long table in the common area, separated by partitions, with a private locking file cabinet. I left a monitor and other equipment there with no issues. The dedicated desk seating was a decent ergonomic chair. Wifi was adequate (no problems to report). There is one phone closet that I used a lot for calls. The community manager was extremely responsive and accommodating.
Highly recommend this boutique coworking space for any independent businesses. The flexibility, sense of community, and location (highly TTC and bike accessible) are excellent. The space itself is very bright, open, and well-maintained. It is operated by the architecture firm upstairs, so help is always nearby and comes with a personalized touch - no red tape, very responsive, and transparent.
Good design DOES make a difference! By far the most beautiful, impeccably maintained, quiet and functional shared work space I've ever worked in. Lots of comfortable space, lots of light, transit and cycle accessible, cafe downstairs...literally have no notes for this place it's perfect.
A friendly, clean co-working space that offers flexible day passes. Kevin is a great co-working space manager who was able to help me get set up with a desk space when I was between offices. I felt so welcome! Great kitchen amenities too and easy to access TTC and local lunch spots.
Quiet, affordable, close by, clean, pleasant atmosphere, and pleasant co-working people. Like everyone else, I need to be productive, but I can't work from home. Lokaal provides the amenities and environment for that to happen.
This boutique coworking space is clean, bright, modern, quiet, and professional. If you need coworking space in this neighbourhood, you should definitely check it out. The owner is amazing and accommodating and makes the experience even more welcoming. There is a Wallace Espresso right in the building which is also amazing. If you need someplace quiet, professional, and inspiring to work from - this is it!
