Dan from Dankroft is an amazing trainer. Dan came out of his way to come all the way north to our home to help us with our dominant female shepherd, who has had it out for our female Malinios from the time we brought her home. I’m a trainer myself and I can openly admit I was at a loss in this situation, there is no room for ego when even us trainers are struggling with our own dogs. For 3 years we have tried seeking help from other trainers in this matter but not getting anyone really willing to help. We felt hopeless that we would never be able to have the girls even able to go for leash walks together. It all seemed impossible. But we knew we were not willing to rehome either of the dogs. Working breeds and dominant dogs is a whole other ball park than your average pet dogs. Dan took the time to assess our home environment and how we Interact with each of our dogs. He pointed out the areas we need to change in order to have harmony in our home, while working us through step by step. Dan is very knowledgeable in behaviour modification and explains things very clearly in a very calm and patient manner. I was struggling with some PTSD from past fights and he was there to coach and help me through each step, showing me how to be more confident in these exercises. What seemed impossible became possible with Dan’s guidance. Our girls can now at least coexist around one another. This experience had me in tears of relief, gratitude, and hope. Thank you so much Dan for not only being a great trainer but a great colleague and friend. ❤️

Dan and the team are the best trainers in Ontario, possibly Canada. Their facility is next level and their classes and staff are the reason My two girls are as well behaved as they are which is so important when you have "dangerous breeds" :/ there may go to anytime I have a new dog and I always recommend them to my friends and anybody who asks who helps train my girls. We recently completed the Puppy Manners and Socialization Program at Dankroft, and couldn't be more pleased with the results! Oriana was our trainer and she was fantastic. Her patience, knowledge, and genuine love for dogs made the experience enjoyable for us and our puppy. The training methods were very effective and easy to follow, and she always made sure to address any questions or concerns we had. Our puppy not only learned essential commands but also developed better social skills with other dogs. The classes were well-structured and fun, keeping our puppy engaged and excited to learn.
