I just wanted to repost my review as it seems it was removed for some reason, but that's how bad my experience was. The customer service at this place is downright combative. A woman yelled at me because I wasn't holding a basket for my 1 item. Literally yelled, I'm not exagerrating. Also, she was telling another woman who already knew what she wanted to get that she knew better than her because she worked for a long time. If you look at their terms of service on their website, you will see that they don't offer refunds ever. That should tell you all you need to know.
First time visiting the shop and really enjoyed my experience. This is a space you can easily get lost in (in a good way) as it’s packed with fabrics floor to ceiling. The staff were so friendly and helpful, patiently answered all my questions, efficiently helped me pick out matching threads and needles for my project. Can’t wait to visit again!
Sadly, this place is not what it used to be. It’s quite a small store and very limited dressy fabrics. The silk section is at the front of the store and is quite limited. Plus, it’s behind a stanchion so you have to ask for assistance before touching. Apparently this is the sale location. I wish the gentleman told me when I asked about the selection. :(
Don't bother shopping online. Their support is intentionally unhelpful/potentially dishonest to avoid any sort of refunds. In my case even when the product never arrived. Effectively theft.
Excellent selection and some good prices. Let the ladies pull the bolts for you. Stairs from street to the shop plus narrow aisles would make it difficult for stroller users and probably exclude walkers and wheelchairs.
Unprofessional and doesn’t deserve any respect! my mom came all the way to get a piece of the textile ! she is an old woman and doesn’t speak english well he asked her to go back and book an appointment! do you think yourself a doctor? or a lawyer! as long as you didn't respect her you dont deserve be respected ! how sad this kind of people in business . Avoid this store at all costs
I came here looking for fabric for facemasks. When I asked about the prices I was told to ignore the prices on the rolls. I was told most of the cotton fabric was $15 a metre which was higher than the numbers on the rolls. When I finally picked some fabric, I was told they would not cut less than a metre. The roll had a little more than that on it but I just did not need that much of that particular fabric at this time, for this project. At this time the father ( I am assuming) of the salesman of the young man who was helping me piped and and said " just give it to her". I assumed they were not going to charge me for it as that is what has happened at Fabricland in the past but that was not the case here. Unfortunately I did not look closely at my receipt until I got home... yes, my mistake.... but I really was not expecting to have to watch my back shopping in a fabric store. Here you do need to keep your guard up. How sad.
