First time at Yummy tonight! Definitely not our last. The best chicken balls, dumplings and popcorn chicken! Everything was delicious, fresh & reasonably priced. A gem in Leslieville. Owners very sweet too.
My daughter went to the school across the street and found this gem of a place. Absolutely love it, never disappointed, everything is delicious and the portions are huge. Wish I had a place like this across from my school as a kid because I'd be there everyday. The hot and sour soup is a meal in itself full of goodies like chicken and shrimp.
Best all-around westernized Chinese food in the entire city. Everything tastes more refined, but homemade with love! I think they make our favourite mapo tofu ever. Fried rice, ho fun, sweet'n'sour/wonton soup and Singapore and Shanghai fried noodle are all winners. Their chicken balls have generous pieces of real chicken nested inside a perfect (not sweet!) doughnut-like ball, with a sweet'n'sour sauce that's so unprocessed it doesn't glow... I've never seen this before, and it's made me a fan of chicken balls for the first time in my life. If you're so inclined, their frozen dumplings you can take home are literally the size of a fist. Biggest dumplings I've ever seen. 1 is a meal for a smallish person. I love this true mom'n'pop shop. Owners are LOVELY and they also sell bubble tea! Check it out!
One of my favourite restaurants in the entire city of Toronto. Quick, delicious food with generous portion sizes. The owners are wonderful people that have been serving the community for decades. Yummy House is one of those hidden gems that deserves some more recognition. We drove 2 hours today for their curry chicken on rice, and it did not disappoint! Worth the drive for us.
Just went there tonight and got the mango bubble tea and bbq pork. Both were amazing!!!! We will be going back for sure! The only thing I regret is not buying their chili oil today. We'll be going back to get some very soon.
Delicious Singapore noodles! The chicken was tender, the shrimp were fresh, and the noodles had great flavor with just the right amount of spice. Generous portion and full of veggies. I’d definitely order this again!
This is a hidden gem at Jones and Gerrard that is not to be missed. Takeout. Daily $10 specials Everything here is super authentic. And...they sell their wonderful dumplings and more frozen, for you to enjoy at home! A MUST TRY.
