I ordered a bouquet online for a family member’s birthday, and I’m genuinely disappointed with what was delivered. The arrangement that arrived was nothing like the one shown on the website — different flowers, poor quality, and several of them were already wilted or damaged. It was meant to be a special surprise, and instead it became an uncomfortable moment for my family. For the price (over $100 with delivery), I expected something fresh and close to what was advertised — not something that looked like it wouldn’t last an hour. I reached out, added photos, and hoped for some acknowledgment or solution, but I haven’t heard back from the business. I usually leave reviews to support local shops, but in this case I feel other customers deserve to know what to expect. Hopefully the team can respond and explain what happened, because this really wasn’t acceptable for such an important occasion.
If I could give zero stars, I would. Don't buy from this place. I ordered a bouquet for my Mum's birthday (I'm currently living in Australia) and the flowers that delivered were half dead. What an embrassement. You're better to go to your local gas station to buy flowers. And for $50 too.
Don't dismiss the negative reviews like I did and be fooled by the overall rating. How do they only have 5* and 1*? (paid positive reviews? Look at the actual comments and names of all the 5*). I found them online and wanted a florist close to the funeral home (10 mins drive) I was sending flowers to, in memory of my sister-in-law. I even called the shop to ensure they could deliver and spoke with Allien (whom I found out is the owner). He seemed pleasant and even said to text him once I put my order through online. I did just that and got a confirmation from Allien. I followed up a day before the funeral to say please ensure my flowers get there in the morning. The day of the funeral, I looked for the flowers I ordered, since it's my first time using Million Roses..NO Flowers. Tried calling the O'Connor location shop that is Allien's number, no answer after a few attempts to get answers. Now I'm thinking I got scammed. Called the Queen St. shop spoke with a lady who said she'll look into it. The excuse I received was, "flowers made it on the delivery truck but they brought the flowers back to the shop". Doesn't make sense as it's 10 mins away and should've been one of the early deliveries. Text from Allien said something different, "flowers order was ready but delivery company still didn't pick up your flowers". I believe, they thought it was a flower delivery to the funeral and didn't think I'd actually be there for the funeral. They are shady and didn't think they'd got caught. Why would you do that when people are grieving someone's death?! I asked for a full refund, they did oblige (eventually got full refund) and offered $100 towards a future order. I appreciate the offer but why would I trust them again to order anything from them? Also, it's not like I have an account or a coupon to physically use that towards a purchase. It's just words. Buyer beware.
if you have an important occasion careful with this! That automatic thing of them buzzing you in etc or 24 hours is completely lie. the guys don't pick up the phone and buz in does not work , they even miss your date of delivery , their website is bad to navigate and the guy over the phone always relying on someone else that does not answer ( boss)
I don’t recommend this place at all. I got married last week and my friend ordered this bouquet for my wedding. I pick it up on Friday 21st. When I called the number at the door, the owner opened the door, she told me what number was it, I grab it and I left. As soon as I got in my car I noticed the roses weren’t fresh (look at the pictures) and I didn’t like the quality at all! I told my friend about it and she asked me to send her photos so she can contact the owner. As soon as she contacted the owner, she refused to give us another bouquet and ask my friend to return the bouquet to get a refund then. I came back then to return it, and when I got there, I called the same number many times and she never picked up the phone! My friend called her too and nothing! I have not choice but to leave the bouquet hanging at the door. Imagine the frustration and pain for not having a bouquet for my wedding next day! This is beyond disgusting and unacceptable! My friend got a refund but it wasn’t about the money! It was about the poor quality and the bad service customer experience I had. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!
Beautiful arrangements, fresh blooms, easy self-service checkout and serene ambiance. Even though it was 2am, the store was open. I was able to make my loved one happy at the last second. Thank you.
