I arrived at the car wash around 8:57 PM and saw there were about seven cars ahead of me. The sign said the wash closes at 10 PM, while other Shell locations stay open until 11 PM. I waited for an hour, and when it finally became my turn at 10:04 PM, the cashier told me they couldn’t let me in because it was past closing time. My question is: how was I supposed to know I would miss the cutoff? There’s no way for customers to know how long each car will take. This has been an ongoing issue, and they should be stepping outside to put up a sign or barrier indicating when no more cars will be accepted. I expected better from Shell Car Wash. This is not how you value people’s time.
Don't worry guys if you come near before 12:00 a.m. and if you see a higher price than normal pump, it is a mistake on the billboard. It will be still low at the pump. Check the pump personally
Yeah it may be cheaper here, but is it really worth the frustration? Like there’s three entrances, and yes everyone should be able to line up behind any pump. But there’s definitely some cranky old people that come to this one that just don’t understand how lines work. Put in one way arrows or do something about the traffic when it’s busy.
I had a very frustrating experience at Shell Car Wash today at Kingston road. After battling the worst snowy and stormy conditions for the past two days, I made the effort to get my car washed at 9:45pm,only to find that the wash was already closed. I struggled on the road, got stuck three times, and finally arrived—only to be turned away. There was no sign indicating an early closure, and when I asked, the staff (Yash) mentioned they were instructed to close at 9:45 pm ,even though I’ve been able to wash my car here until 10 PM in the past. This sudden and unannounced change in hours, especially in such bad weather, was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Better communication and customer service are expected from a company like Shell. I hope they take feedback seriously and improve their operations.
Gas is great But the car wash I would never recommend I paid $19 something including tax And wash I got you can see below didn’t clean at all Idk who’s the manager, if he have ever washed his car there Most of the water spray holes were clogged/wasn’t working Waste of money
I tried this car wash ultimate a couple times but now I find its just power washing over the dirt and grime. The detergents are not doing a good job and sunny day today I wiped off all the dirt onto a rag to confirm it. I went home and washed the whole car with car wash soap and used a car wash mitt, Will only use for wintertime to wash the salt and once and a while for underbody washes only from now on. $16.99 + tax too expensive for the result I got today, and I wanted to go and complain but just not worth it will probably be sent back again for another one and wash the dirt all over again not worth my time and hassle
Wonderful place, clean service, and friendly staff. The customer service is great, and the gas price is cheap. These assets are the main reasons I love to visit here.
