I had a very unpleasant situation with a guy named Tony, he called himself a manager, he refused to serve us and sell me cigarettes, I showed him my ID 2 times, later I asked him to call the police, he said that I needed it and he wouldn't do it. 10 Years i was tanking only on Shell, after this situation i will use Mobi1 and recommend it to everybody.
bought a 100$ prepaid visa card and it had no funds, called the card company and said it was never activated at the register, do not buy pre paid cards from here
Place is kept well. Issue was with an employee, this was a while ago. But she insisted that she couldn't check one of the lotto tix you buy at the grocery store and wasn't really willing to listen or try to do what I was near begging her to. Needless to say other places get my business as a result.
Not bad during the day, but kind of terrible at night. At night (I think after 11pm) they lock the doors and you're forced to use a little window to make purchases. This means you can't buy anything except gas and cigarettes, but more importantly it's a pain in the neck if you, like me, are shorter than about 5'5" (the counter inside is also too high for shorter people, but it's much less of an issue). So you're standing there in the cold, struggling to reach the window, and the guy (it's always a guy) behind the counter always acts like he's totally annoyed that he has to serve anyone at all. Anyway, generally an unpleasant experience if you go here at night - I wouldn't bother. There's a Circle K and a PetroCanada down the street with much better service.
